Well, after this afternoon’s shitshow- what odds KW will fulfill his dream move back to BDTBL this summer?

He'd be mad to pass up on a Saudi contract, if offered.

We'd have to go up this season for it to even be a possibility.

No way he'd drop down to the Championship when he could get paid a lot more for sitting on his arse somewhere else.

He's getting some stick from Micah Richards on Sky now after they got hammered 4-0 at home by Spurs.

Unfortunately he is on a downwards spiral, looking like he’s lost that yard of pace and getting done in sprints where even a year ago his pace would get him out of trouble but seen it a few times lately including Werner today easily doing Walker. Even next year he would be on massive money and honestly don’t think it would be good business by us even if we go up to throw it at him. Obviously if he dropped his money drastically it might make sense but can’t see it myself.

Could not agree more!

Saudi becons

My view, and others are obviously valid, is that he will be finished at MC by the end of the season so, does he want to deliver on all the “SU is my home” stuff or he can trouser the Saudi cash. If he does, his choice obviously, but sod all the bladey blade nonsense. That said, he’s obviously lost a yard so may not even make the grade now

If that cash is on offer somewhere he will need it.
Divorce and estranged children to two different women to pay for, for at least another 16 years too!

Sadly, I don’t see there being much chance of a blades farewell, and even though many are suggesting he’s finished I suspect that there’s much more to it at City and that he may have instead perhaps lost a little desire there.

Read today his wife is prepared to give him another chance but wants £15m

I think he will come back if we go up . He doesn’t need the Saudi money and loves the blades.

If we do go up we would be better spending such wages more wisely.

Not that I think it would be a goer anyway.

I qouted before, if he's desperate to come back, offer him the same as the highest paid at the club, nothing more, we can't bring him back just because he wants to play for us or some fans feeling the love for him, I'd like to play for us ,but get real

It never ceases to amaze me how "fans" love to look for the slightest chink so they feel justified to rip players apart. It's like they hate to see players doing well & can't wait to pick them apart.

Kyle Walker is far from finished, it is clear to see he isn't as fit as he could beat the moment due to a series of injuries & missing games because of them. Everyone slows as they age, it is inevitable, but I don't think that time is now for Kyle, unless these injuries prevent him from regaining full fitness.

If you watch the "race" with Werner he started sprinting slightly after him & by the time W crossed he had not lost ground, just didn't gain like he normally would, so you cannot say he has lost a yard of pace just yet, & would back him to be as fast as usual by the seasons end, injury & fitness permitting.
