Outgoing? Kyle Walker to move on...

Maguire signed an extension and is contracted until 2018.

So he'll have a year left but it won't stop clubs bidding £10m+ for him.

The likes of Bayern Munich, Barcelona, Inter Milan and Real Madrid are reportedly sniffing around 'our Kyle'.

Can any of them muster an offer big enough to tempt Spurs to part with Walker, who is still contracted until 2021? What would it take to break their resolve? Man City, a club with a transfer budget of around £200million this summer and for whom he was rumoured to be a top target, have supposedly ruled him out of their price range. But when the likes of Real Madrid and Barcelona really want someone, they get them.

We might be in for a pleasantly large windfall this summer, especially if Harry Maguire also moves on.

With Kieran Trippier playing well for Spurs, they might be tempted to cash in on Kyle as they have another right back of a similar quality level.

Trippier has been playing well and is a decent cover, but in my opinion Walker is head and shoulders above him. I think Spurs feel similarly, which is why if he leaves it will be for top money.

Spurs are still very much in the title race, but could potentially face a few years in the wilderness once their new gaff is built as their North London neighbours. It looks superb, which means it certainly won't be cheap.

I reckon they might well cash in, and on a more personal note, it'd be top class to see a Blade at one of the giants of world football.

Remember who was dealing with the "negotiations" when we sold him to Spurs !!

In lieu of a "windfall" from a sensibly placed sell-on clause, we will probably be guaranteed a friendly match with Spurs ( U18s in the small print) on condition that there is a Z in the month.

We have hardly fared well in the sell-on-clause negotiations in the past ....... I'm not holding my breath o_O:rolleyes:

Be sods law that Barcelona pay 100m only to accidentally buy Kyle Walker-Peters from Tottenham instead.

Unless that was Tottenham's plan all along...

In the Contract it says "Don't worry about Sheffield United Sell on Clause, they are run poorly and will never check" when wilder took over he sent an Amendment "if you sell him you fuckers, I will send the boys round for the cash"

Barcelona and possibly Bayern will need right backs.

AC Milan also have a lot of money now.

If he's got real ambition he'll leave. Now is the time for him, although it would be a shame not to play in Spurs' new stadium, and Spurs is a good club to be at.

Has a Blade ever played for one of the world's top clubs?

I wouldn't be surprised to see Kyle stays at Spurs they have a good manager, very good side, new stadium and look as if they will only get better.

Sabella and Verde both played for Estudiantes de la Plata and Sabella also played for River Plate. Both clubs have won Copa Libatadores and the World Club Championship in the past.

It's not the sell on clause you need to be wary of, it's the ruthless twat in charge of spurs we need to worry about.
He would happily do a deal by selling two players to whoever buys Kyle, and doing a joint fee.
Thereby disposing of a player they don't want and reducing considerably to square root of fuck all the 10% we would get!

I can see it happening, they will find away around it when there is between 5-10m at stake!

Yep. They played against MK Plastics last Saturday

Todays rag saying Pep will have to fork out £50m if he wants to sign Walker and that he is confident of landing his man after Walkers showdown talks with Poch. This following Trippiers number of recent starts for Spurs. Walker also unhappy at being paid less than some of the other stars at the club, as well as most of his England team mates.

Also says that City would be willing to more than double his wages to £150k/week

So 10% of £50m = a whole lot of wonga! :)

Walker's on his way, I'm quite confident about that now.

He's on about 75k p/w at Spurs and he could easily get double that in Manchester, and possibly abroad. There's no doubt it's a significant factor.

And I don't think Spurs will sell for less than £40m. So we should have at least £4m coming our way.

Then Maguire will go for around £15m so that will mean another £2m or so for us.

Kyle WANTS to leave.

Harry will most probably leave (if he's any ambition in him).

Kerchiiiiiiiiing!

Harry has proven he has ambition when he left us

However when he moves from the unfashionable Northern club Hull City it will be for about £5 million

Kyle Walker on the other hand might move for such a fee that we could end up with an extra five or six million quid in the kitty

Unfashionable yes, but still a professional football club. Everyone can see he's worth far more than that, especially when £1million+ is chucked on unproven youth these days. I'd expect the fee to go into the £20million region. The fact that he's English means a lot, because of the 'home-grown' quotas that top clubs have to rather reluctantly meet.

Has there been any confirmation that we are actually in line for any Walker cash? A mate of mine used to work at Spurs around the time Naughton was there and is quite sure that a) we got barely anything for the Naughton deal, and b) Levy either bought out the Walker sell-on clause a while back, or it expired. He's adamant we'll get none of the Walker deal. No idea whether that's the case, but Levy is one slippery character.
