A friend who knows Kyle's family has informed me kyle is feeling homesick and has expressed a desire to return to the blades on loan for a while, if true maybe an arrangement could be stitched together, also considering our "gentlemans agreement" with spurs.

i think this rumour has less legs than a spider stuck on a toffee

Ian Ross is available!

Just been released by Harrogate Town (Blue Square Bet North league)

Hes homesick for Shefield, he misses home, thats what homesick means.
it might be bollox but i had heard from one of his mums neighbours he was missing family and home, shoot the messenger why dont you?
I its worth owt as a rumour i dunno, but if true and a deal could be done wold anyone turn him down?

incedently, the same guy told me weeks ago beattie would, once fit be signing on a pay as you play contract, so seems that rumour has resurfaced and could be true so if so maybe this is true too?

If only there was some kind of transport infrastructure in this country enabling travel between London and Norwich. The poor lamb, it must be terrible sitting there in Norwich on Premier League money.

So this 4th hand hearsay - Kyle told his mum, who told her friend who told you.

It is, as you put it, bollox.

PS: is this guy Beattie's mum's friend too?

No offence intended here Munxy...but this has to be the daftest, most unrealistic rumour I've ever had the fortune of hearing. And that includes the joke sites like tribal and transfer-rumours.com!!

You've clearly not driven on the A11 SV!! And don't get me started on the trains...

Without pissing on your chips, Munxy, the Beattie thing has been common knowledge for weeks and hardly a good example of being ITK. Now if the Naughton thing happens I'll concede he's bosom buddies with McCabe, but personally I think I'm more likely to demand Smegson be made England manager.

I actually happen to think that Gary Megson would make a great England manager.

In the sense that the majority of them since Robson have been talentless, clueless morons.

Hoddle, Venables?

Venables wasn't a talentless, clueless moron. As a player, Hoddle wasn't either, but as a manager he wasn't far off. So that's one decent manager in the last nine, if you include caretakers. Eriksson and Capello have been decent club managers, but failed dismally at international level. Still, when we get 'Arry in it'll all be wonderful.

I wouldn't actually class Eriksson as a failure to be honest.
He never had an issue qualifying, his record was great for competitive games, just always fell short at the quarter final hurdle.

It'll be interesting to see how he does in the job, especially never seeing a game or any of the players on account of being in a cell at Brixton ;)

Can't blame him for wanting to play for another prem club, but i think he's lost his way a bit another player that left too early.

Permanent fixture at right-back for a PL club. Still signed to the most progressive team in the PL at the moment. There's a few around who'd love to be that lost.

The way Hoddle setup the England side was far superior to anyone including Robson tactically. (Robson altered during 86 becuase of injuries and player pressure)
He spotted that 4-4-2 was past its sellby date and had our players playing 3-5-2, 4-2-3-1, 4-5-1 formations and getting results while doing it.
In Le Tournoi (allbeit a friendly tournament) we schooled Italy and France (the latter of which went on to be World Champions the next season) tactically.

Hoddle was a great England manager who actually had us starting to think properly about England playing technical and tactical sound football, on the ground while winning games.
Sacked for none football reasons, which should have been sorted out whlie remaining in his position. He left to the detriment of the national team which is now only just starting to see the light.
