Well now you mention it we could do with a right back as well, but in my opinion we were weak at left back all last season.
 



We have 2 left backs in Williams and LJF. Williams had some injuries which I hope are behind him because we can't afford to have 3 on wages

No official announcement made of this that I have seen. - Anyone else seen anything since green blade poseted this on Saturday?

Not sure what they would gain from withholding such news if the deal has actually been signed.
Maybe it's been agreed in principle but not signed until they get back from Malta.
Odd one though in my mind - surely this is noteworthy and something that should have been announced if it carries as much substance as GB asserts.

Well I doubt we would take him out there with us if he hadn't signed or agreed to a deal I assume.

Maybe they have faxed the contract to Malta...
 
So apparantly according some on here it was a done deal 2 or 3 days ago, but yet still nothing has been announced.......

Same hold true of the trialists we have out there? No, thought not.

Maybe he wants a free jolly before his pesky agent denies receiving any facsimile when promised and ships him off to a Champ club instead.

Probably signed last month, the way we do things
 
I have tried to find out why not announced. Nothing coming out. He has signed though as I posted. I seriously Hope metal is not right and it comes at a cost of Harry but that is not what I am hearing. I think DW has helped this deal more than he probably gets credit for. That said a new centre half is the next one to come in. But we needed that anyway as we have no cover.
 
Have a look at tonights Star there is a report from malta regarding tonights match.
Macdonald was strutting his stuff for the blades.

Im sensing at least one poster isn't 100% convinced. Not having a go at Green Blade either because his intentions may well be honourable, but haven't we heard this 100 times before and been found to be wrong? I'm sure Green Blade is slapping his head saying "but I have seen/heard it". Until its in the public domain I'm afraid it counts for nothing.

If he's signed a new contract, why not just announce it?

Why is everything at this club difficult?

Hey we are in tough times. Kev is just making the difficult decisions and it is all in the national interest.

but in the report James Shields seems convinced that he has signed a new contract.
Mind you he also said "Nick Montgomery hit the woodwork following a fine piece of control" so I suppose we have to take what he says with a pinch of salt ;-)

Obviously nothing announced is worrying, but the fact he played last night and that a BM poster out in Malta has been told he has signed by a player, makes me think you're on the money

Why the f'k us mere fans have to be kept in the dark tho remains a mystery?

I've also been told that he has signed by my mates, next door neighbour who used to deliver The Daily Express to Ethel who cleans the under 18's kit.
 
I now have it on good authority that KMac has signed a deal, as well.
Friend of a friend sort of thing but a line that I trust.
Just had to increase the offer to a level where he was happy to accept.
Best piece of business for the summer if this works out to be true.

Now need the attacking options and cover at CB to have a chance of reaching the play offs :eek: again

I would imagine (my opinion) that there has been no announcement of the KMac signing to date, so as not to affect another bit of business they are doing to close.
