I think CW has seen enough of him with the 23s to be honest.

Not CWs cup of tea so he is going.

My biggest surprise is not offering Joe Cummings at least a one year Pro deal. Especially with Semple out until Christmas. But again, looks like Cummings is not CWs kind of player so off he goes.
Cummings has gone on to sign a 2 year deal at Charlton Athletic. A good move for the lad.

Pleased he has been sorted. If he gets his head down he will do well. He played well alongside Callum Semple

Look. I'm in it to enjoy it. I watch a lot of SUFC U18 & U23 football. Of course, I want some of those players to kick on & develop & get into the First Team. But, if I'm giving up my morning or evening to watch a Sheffield United XI play, I will enjoy it in the moment. I'll happily say to anyone ..... watching Diego play at U18 & at U21 before his injury was fantastic entertainment. A United player, at the top of his game, putting the opposition on their arses, week in, week out - superb. He didn't kick on. That's the way it goes. I loved every moment watching him.

Yes it is good to watch the new ones play. Once they get scholarships most find a place in the game. I think it is the way our Academy only run with a small number of lads that enables most to succeed The manager seems to have a clear idea what type of youngster he wants to push through and attitude and determination are as important as skill and strength. If I had a talented son I would trust him with our Academy

I like watching Kelly. Interesting that he has played all the games at under 23 and he puts in a shift each time

Was the most talked about player in youth football in england at the stage of his injury, really set him back never really got the same game back but he's got talent in abundance might just be taking him a while to come around again. Injury really was bad timing, ask Danny Wilson.
