Our first season back in the championship I thought he was unlucky. Baldock got injured, then Freeman came in and did a good job but got a bad injury against Norwich(?) and he never really got another chance as Baldock went from strength to strength.

I do seem to remember though that he had the opportunity of joining us permanently at the end of the 2013-14 season and he fucked us off ....:rolleyes:

Kezza, best of luck lad, you're a legend in my eyes. I play right back so I always keep a closer eye on our right backs and I have to say you're up there with my most enjoyable players that I've watched.

Once a Blade n all that.....
 
He was phenomenal in that first promotion and always provided solid cover since. Baldock has just taken the role to a new level.

Really hope he lands on his feet somewhere.

Only 5 of the 'Centurions' left now :(

I suspect Wilder has said to Freeman go and see what’s out there if you want more regular football, if you don’t fancy that, and can accept a squad position at a PL club with a promise that if you push on, you have a decent chance of some pitch time, that hasn’t already been taken (Cash) we will see what we can do !!!

He covered both left and right back for Bob Harris and Brayford I think. I think he was playing left back when he gave away a penalty, got sent off, got reprieved and won a goalkick. All inside 2 mad minutes.

In the promotion season the number of goals he scored running into the inside left position whilst nominally playing right back was bonkers.
