CONFIRMED Kieffer Moore signs on a 3-year deal

I do think with how we are playing a different type of striker would be more suitable. Early doors yet though and we are talking about a proven striker here, not someone with "potential".

True, I never expected him to start every game and play the full 90 mins.

We need to hurry up and get more strikers in.
 
Kieffer Moore so far has looked like a poor man’s Oli McBurnie. Never thought I would say that. For such a tall striker he is unbelievably weak in getting up to challenge defenders.
 
I said at Preston he makes you realise McBurnie was a lot more mobile than we gave him credit for
Having said that Moores doing ok, 1 in 3, thats his career percentage
Obviously we need much more, Im sure we will get it

What would be the point of him getting up to challenge defenders if we aren’t getting players around him?
 
Needs to be used as a plan B.
Not good enough to be the number one striker at a club pushing for promotion, it's clear from just 3 games.
He just doesn't do anything in particular well.

We need to use the Anel money when it comes for a proper first choice frontman.

I’m not impressed by Moore so far.

Moore and O'hare have definitely not hot going yet. The lack of being able to hold the up is the main concern. Oli was certainly miles ahead in that respect. Second half of the second half the ball just kept going back to Norwich. Game was crying out for a pacey striker, I hate to say it, I wanted Brewster to replace Moore for the last 30. Yikes.
 
I’d be looking to bring in someone to compete for the shirt up top with the proceeds from the Anel sale.

That and an LCB are priorities for me if we want to mount a promotion challenge.
 
Moore has looked a bit rusty, but he has still gotten on the end of good chances in each game, we know he is a good finisher and a consistent goalscorer at this level, so as his sharpness and form upticks I feel he is not someone we will have to worry about too much. It's always the same for strikers, I worry more when they are not getting chances or getting into good positions. I think as we work out how to get Burrows into more attacking positions, we will also see a bit more from Kieffer as well.
 
give him a chance the system wilder is playing has o 'hare as his only support and thats not really working for me think especially in home games we have to play another striker with moore if he wins headers theres nobody there to latch on to them maybe tom cannon could be the answer they could make a powerful front 2

Burrows and seriki as "wing backs " the system with 4 at the back means looking both ways
Gilchrist-Souttar-rnd "when up to speed and fully fit "
Covers behind them ,Anel would fit better than Gilchrist for marauding centre halves but if we have to sacrifice him to get 3 others in then so be it !!
 
Thought he was limited before we signed him. Not much has changed my mind so far. I think some of our fans would be happy with Jon Parkin up front. Hope he can show a bit more than what he's done so far because Mcburnie is a far better player on current showing.

very harsh in my view. Everyone is shite when they don’t get the ball.

we were too slow getting it to Brooks out wide, didn’t knock in any decent crosses.

Moore spent the entire game making runs ideal for through balls and we didn’t pass it to him.

I’d have been annoyed if I were him.

I know he had his detractors but McBurnie is a much better footballer than Moore.

He could have created a break in that second half and he almost didn’t know what to do.

McBurnie’s passing and vision were under-rated. A shame at times we had wee trying to make him and Premier League Jon Parkin!

I can't understand this new love in for McBurnie, he's getting better every game he doesn't play for us.
People seem to forget he was...
Often unavailable due to injury or suspension
When he did play, probably had 1 decent game in 3
Tended to get frustrated when he was getting outplayed and was then a red card waiting to happen (Burnley away last season)

Personally I was delighted to see the back of him
