As for Kenny, leaving aside the morality and anguish, he wasn't a great keeper by any means. I'm not sorry to see him go. If we get Simonsen we have improved the team.

Is there any source on that Foxy? I'm not denying what you're saying but I find it hard to believe any other offer he has received is significantly better than ours. Monty is a well travelled lad like any other footballer. I cant see relocation as being a deterrant to picking up 30% or more increased wages. I dont believe any players are loyal any more. They all play for the money, every single one of them.

There have been a few interviews on Radio Sheffield where Monty has cited Michael Tonge as one reason he's happy where he is - often using the phrase "the grass isn't always greener".

One point everyone is missing is that we kept the goal keeper position open all last season for Paddy's return instead of signing a decent permanent keeper. How many points did Bunn cost us? Could have been the difference between 8th and a top 6 finish.
Hind sight is a wonderful thing but perhaps we should have been more ruthless and not stood by him. Now we are still without a goalkeeper for the second season running. Thanks paddy

Underselling players has always been something United have been brilliant at.

I'm suprised it took so long for that myth to re surface. Create a list of players we've willingly sold that have gone on to command significantly higher fees. It wont be a very long list.

Laughable, but the faithful will believe the spin no matter what.

There's been a clear out, with most lads we represent too. They don't give you much warning, and you're lucky to get a phone call, let alone a choice or time.
