Surgery on his knee I think.
Don't like how Gage says "Sheffield United" and not "we" and the man child Radio Sheffield presenter is irritating with his West Yorkshire accent. As I write Notlob have scored

Only for him to say "yep, well the warning signs were there"Everytime Keith Edwards states we are dominating the game and there’s only one winner, we concede FFS
It's not time to make a change,
Just relax, take it easy
You're still young, that's your fault,
There's so much you have to know
Find a girl, settle down,
If you want you can marry
Look at me, I am old, but I'm happy.
Try listening to this seasons extended derby highlights then come back and moan about Edward's!just listen to one game with piggy Pearson on RS and Edwards will go up in your estimations.

Unusually I completely agree with Cerberus BladeI'll say it then. I like Keith Edwards commentaries on the radio. I think he talks a lot of sense, a lot of the time. That's pretty good actually. It's maybe not possible for anyone to talk complete sense all of the time. So, I'm happy with that.
I think he makes some very good observations on our play. He's been saying for weeks now about how we need to be more clinical in front of goal - and there's no one who can speak with better authority on that than him - because he was deadly at it. One of the best finishers every to play for a Sheffield United team.
I think he's very fair and balanced in his comments too. I thought his summing up of yesterday's game at Ipswich was spot on. He credited the team for a very good performance but said that Wilder will be pleased with the performance, but not the result. He pointed out that this is the Championship - and whilst we'd hope to beat teams at the bottom of the table it really isn't that simple - the games are all very tough.
Occasionally he will hark back to his day - and that can get a bit tiring. And occasionally he'll go off at a tangent and talk about something else, like the pie he's just had, or the journey to the game. And that's a bit distracting when you just want to know who's kicking the bloody ball and what's happening on the pitch. But, he tells it as he sees it. He doesn't wrap it up in cotton wool for us or play political games with us. And I think he gets it spot on most of the time.
As for other suggestions - I think Gagey is "o.k." but doesn't have the ability of Edwards to analyse and pin point what needs to happen on the pitch - and he can't even pronounce some of the players names, so sorry, that's a very poor suggestion. And Holdsworth was even worse!
Shall we just stick with Keith Edwards and find summat else to moan about instead? It's horrible weather this morning y'know - shall we start a thread on that?
A workmate who is in his early 30s (and a Blade) has said that he doesnt like listening to Edwards as he gets fed up of his "in my day" comments. It is the same for my son too as he doesnt listen to his commentaries. Looks like Edwards doesnt really appeal to the younger generation. Both agree that Pearson is worse.
The reason for us not putting the ball in, from watching the game was because Ipswich defended resolutely, we continually probed, but couldn't break them down, their formation was set up to hit us on the counter
