LOL. The early 1970's have just rang and asked if they can have their phrase book back.
It was tongue in cheek, as per the chap who posted it previously. Sorry, I missed the apostrophe’s, Sir. I’ll try better next time.

Arsehole.

You'll probably have a telling off notification popping up soon.

The lad has impressed as a centre-back, left-footed. He has sufficient pedigree to have survived at cash-saturated Man City. He was young player of the year at Oldham.

Here’s an idea. Perhaps let him play in his proper position. Let him deputise initially for, and ultimately compete with, JOC. If he proves himself better than Jack (and I know shock waves will reverberate around S2 at the very thought) then let him have the shirt.

Alternatively we can try to shoehorn a young newcomer into the team in an unfamiliar position and never mind if he sinks like a stone.

If Leonard was bought ultimately to play RCB, then it's completely feasible that Bryan will be bought ultimately for LWB.

I don't think any "shoehorning" is going on, as he's reportedly very versatile and has played both central defence and midfield.

Providing he's athletic (and you'd presume so if he's been at City's academy) he shouldn't have to work too hard to play LWB either.
The combination of his defensive and attacking skills learned at CB and CM would make him ideal for this role (which many would argue is the most likely opening in the team.)

Rather than shoehorning him into any position, I think it's logical he'll be tried in all 3, like Leonard.

So, I can’t quote what was stated on the other post then?

Does anybody get a ‘telling off notification’ when jokes are made about signing players who are ‘young, black, fast and French’?

Christ alive.

That's what we want to hear. Good old Fudson.

Do what you want. It's just the personal abuse you might get a tug for. I got one when I called someone a bell end.

We’ve signed a French lad?

The Sun reports (August 1st, live blog) that Sheffield United are hoping to sign Kean Bryan on a 'play-first-pay-later' deal after his proposed move to Rangers fell through.

Wtf is a play-first-pay-later deal? New one to me. Doesn't sound too encouraging from a players perspective I guess..

EDIT: Just read, basically Man City will allow him to leave for nothing but will take a percentage of profit should he do well and be sold on.

Int that just like workin a week in hand for us mortals?

Just reading an article in the Mail discussing the owners fights and it stated the following - On Wednesday night they struck a deal with Manchester City to sign 21-year-old Kean Bryan, a highly rated central defender.

UTB

Seems Rangers we’re going for a him at £2.5m and we have done a master stroke were I guess they get a large chunk of any sale of him. Excellent business.

Would add some competition for Jack but mainly I think will help when Jack carrying a knock or cup games.

Although it’s Excellent JoC played so many games I can imagine he could do with a rest the odd week.

Sounds like a reworded loan to buy deal

Please take 5 minutes to better understand the correct use of where, were & we're. I like the point you're making but that makes my piss boil.

Looks like a versatile player. Chris must think he has the potential to step up, so hopefully he can provide decent left sided cover for CM and CB, possibly WB.

On a free it's a not brainer. If he flops he has only cost us wages and will still have a decent re-sale value at his age.

Very happy with this window so far. Just need that striker now, ideally a 6'4 powerhouse who can shift a bit. Because they are normally cheap and easy to find......o_O
