If he stays fit in happy - could be an absolute cheat code and provide leadership. We were piss weak last season and had our belly's tickled. If he contributes massively to 25 one nil wins we'll be right up there!

I did acknowledge he’s a risk and we’ll need to defy the odds, by which I meant getting him consistently fit, available and in form.

In terms of being a match winner, he’s clearly not Hamer’s replacement, he’s a different player for a different role. Peck isn’t a match winner by that definition either for example.

We also have no idea how expensive he is. What other choices do we have? Splash the cash?
