It's the players around him that can't do it. Players need chances to score goals.

Well that and him finding the ability to actually stay on the pitch to be in a position to score.

Not that last week is really all that representative of his career.

I know he's good for you, but you didn't see him for us (or at least not much). In attitude, application and demonstration of ability, his play was utterly without merit. He had one trick - cut inside and fall over. He missed a sitter my deceased Grandmother would have scored and thought a reasonable reaction would be to boot an MK Dons player up in the air. It doesn't matter what he now does elsewhere, he was dreadful for us.

I think some of you either don't realise, or have forgotten we had him all last season, so we know what he's about.

I've read a number of threads on here slating players that have done well elsewhere. Ever thought the problem isn't the players, but everything else, including dismissive, under supportive fans?

I would hardly call our fans under supportive we average over 16k we are in a relegation battle and have been crap all season
I know numbers dont count for everything but I wonder if Brandy can handle the pressure of playing in front of a big crowd with all the expectations that go with it

You should know all about under-supportive fans. 6th from top and 4,000 at your last home game.

Supported him plenty and will continue to do so if/when he comes back, it still doesn't make him the goalscorer you are hinting at and had nothing to do with the fact he managed to spend most of his time with us suspended.

You've all made exactly the same mistake, I expected you to. Support isn't about numbers. Oddly it's about "supporting" the team. I've been to Brammall Lane a number of times, and have seen little support, just a much bigger crowd moaning when they're not hammering little teams like Walsall.

As for our gates of 4,000. It doesn't seem to be holding us back. It's disappointing but Walsall's proud manufacturing history is disappearing leaving high rates of unemployment, so people can't afford to go to games anymore. That's no forgetting the even more obvious fact, that any person of sane mind should be able to recognise, that we are within 10 miles of Villa, Blues, Wolves and Albion. We don't stand a chance.

Now, in comparison 16,000 seems quite paltry, wouldn't you say?

Yes Barrington you're right. You always are. You'll have noticed on your visits to our place the booming Coal and Steel industries I take it?

Now, enjoy being good, have a super time as the model of lower league football. If it was something worth aspiring to, we would all go and watch Rotherham or Chesterfield.

This is not an arrogant we are better because we are bigger post, we know we are shit for a myriad of reasons, but because we know we can and should be punching much higher, that's the difference.

You forgot 'Fuck off and bother somebody else'
