2 would be criminal, and wouldn't get the new board off to the best of starts.

3 is at a push depending on who they are.

4 like you, I'd say is the minimum. Even if we have players coming back, we need them to be competing.. who have they got to lose their place to?

2 isnt enough imo 3 absolute minimum looking like its only going to be ben brereton coming in up front a midfielder and centre back as i said maybe a couple of our injured players are near to fitness if we can get seriki souza and campbell back 3 probably would be enough

The question was whether we’d have signings in before Norwich, so it sounds like we’re going to have to go with the current squad at Watford. But 2 or 3 in shortly after is encouraging.

It’s also positive to hear that Souza, Campbell, Seriki and Shackleton should all be back for Norwich.

Things might be starting to look up!

It could be an eventual line up, but there is no way that the starting line up would be disrupted to the extent of 5 new signings all at once. I think we would see 3 starting, maximum, but more likely 2. That would be at CH & LW.

As long as Seriki is back within a month or so I'm comfortable going with him and Gilchrist, and would start him probably around 1 in 3 games

Last night showed us how thin we are as a squad and gave a good example of who and who we can't rely on as the viable future of players at the club,either as first team or back up.
There is only so much we can do this window and hope for the best with injuries,but we now know we have to seriously upgrade the quality of the squad whether we go up or not.
Another promotion would seriously test the new owners and management in the same way that the last one did with the money which would be needed and the quality of player required just to try to improve a little on last time,but to compete for another serious crack at promotion next season if we don't promote is still going to need a lot of outs replaced by good quality ins to improve the squad significantly.
