100% agree. Creativity and a striker are what gets the blood pumping, but if we're going to have any chance this season it's going to be built on a solid defence. Larouci may develop well, but we need someone good enough to start now. Surprised there isn't more noise about this.

It's a nice thought, but it wouldn't be like Our Max to be of any such use. He'll almost certainly be injured. Probably just long enough to take him beyond January as well, so we can't even get a cut price fee for him in that window
