Jonjoe Kenny is the worst I've ever seen for us.

Possibly the worst player I've seen at Celtic. Jonjoe Kenny wants to meet you in the car park.

Hopefully they get Jonjoe Kenny instead. He owes us for making our eyes bleed.

The guy couldn't even get on the bench last season when Jonjoe Kenny was putting in some of the worst performances you'll ever see from a Celtic right back.

The Smeltic comments may be worth putting in some context:
In the duopoly of Caledonian football they won ‘nowt’ finishing 25 points behind Rankers in the league & losing to ‘em 3 times in the process. Compounded by having ‘done the treble’ 4 consecutive seasons afore.
Knocked out of cup @ 2nd stage & League cup 1st time of asking (home to Ross)

Lost the gaffer that signed Kenny (a month or so afore) in February & in essence surrendered the title - confirmed in 1st week of March (the earliest ever).
I’ve no idea if he’s any good (‘improved’) but , from 1st hand experience, Id certainly want to approach the the entitled weegie neds ‘opinions’ with some caution.
In essence it appears JJK arrived at a car crash & clambered into the passenger seat

A few days ago their sporting director said that there's been no contact between the two clubs and that there's been no official offer for the player. They're saying that United wants to put pressure on the club to lower the fee.

That's basically what this guy is saying.
 
Well that's a shame.

He won't be the same player for them now.
 
Tbh there's no reason to think this can't be revived before the deadline

Unless whatever is said in the Star article contradicts that of course. But as if I'm clicking onto that site
 
Find it really peculiar when clubs behave like this. Bloke very respectfully said he wanted to leave and felt it was the best move for his family. Unusual to speak publicly about it perhaps but he praised the club and its fans.

Even if Kenny was irreplaceable to Hertha, which I very much doubt, he ain't exactly going to bust a gut for them after how this has played out. Shame.
 
Guess that's what risk Hertha are willing to take.. sure it says in the article we can offer him a pre contract to sign in the summer

With only 6 months left on his deal I think he can talk to any club now and sign wherever he wants for next season.

I'd sign him to a contract immediately just to spite them. But that's just me being petty haha.

If we still want him then. I imagine he won't be busting a gut for them in the next 4 months or so of the season, then he will be walking out thinking 'screw you'.

Fair enough. Move on (and good that Utd were giving deadlines too).
