Not enough height in the midfield and add Hill and Williams in and it was a miracle they didn't score from crosses last night.

Flynn has shown that a 'little' player can look OK but for me our 18-21 year olds just aint big enough to have a successful career. If you are Chappell's size you need to be lightning quick. Harriot has some attributes yes but pretty clear to me that if he plays 15-20 games we aint going up

Bullcrap, whatever you do don't watch Barca as there midfielders are tiny and are constantly being out muscled, or the spanish national team,Arsenal may be not, giggs, scholes, butt,er maybe not them either,no where near any of these standards yet, but we played land of the giants football when we had to, and enjoyed it under sir Dave Bassett, but surprise, surprise not under Blackie, no wonder Britton left,go watch stoke or the vile if ya like em big.Just take a neck brace ya might need one.

People misuderstand my comments. I would be happy for the Blades to go away from home and get results playing like that every week. However, I feel on another night we would not have won that game. Had it not been for a bit of luck (Long making good saves, forunate goal for us, poor finishing from them, poor defending by them) and some individual brilliance from Miller then we might not have won the game. Whilst I think we were relatively comfortable (a bit like at Yeovil and Orient) we were not that good and I think the 4-1 scoreline really flattered us.

I fail to see how good saves, poor defending and poor finishing is a bit of luck for us.

Bit harsh on Long, lots of people have said he's got something and, I think, in every game he's played this season he's made an outstanding save, shows its nothing to do with luck to me.

Tend to agree that the scoreline flattered us a bit, was more a 0 - 2 for me instead, would probably been different if they scored when they were on top but thats football for you.

Lol. Touche. No need to give an infraction for that admins. Pissed myself.

Poor old Cofie. Must be really tricky for him. Leaving Ghana behind and signing for Manchester United. Who says owt about United being low on confidence? We've lost one game in the last 20-odd and are 3rd in the league and unbeaten this season. I was wrong in my last comment. The kid has actually got some talent. He is quick and has a devil of a strike. All the more unforgivable for him making fuck all effort. But you keep making excuses for him Houso. Ignore him pulling out of 50/50 challenges, his poor work rate and him looking uninterested. It's nowt to do with him thinking he is too good, not giving a damn about SUFC etc it is because he is young and playing with a team with low morale.

Don't worry, it was tongue in cheek :D

I'd say we are low on confidence, unbeaten run aside. Psychologically we're incredibly weak and this is evidenced by the way we throw away leads on a constant basis. This permeates through the team and especially to younger players who have no experience of such situations.

I'd happily keep Cofie, at least on the bench for the fact he brings pace to a team with NO pace. But please, only play the bleeder up front. He's a luxury, and when we have more confidence, he'll score a hatful.

Because on another day those things would not have happened. On another day the shot might have been a yard to Long's side, on another day Hughes shot would have gone inside the post, on another day County would have cleared the corner, Maguire's shot would have gone into the stand 99 times out of a hundred etc. Do not get me wrong, County have themselves to blame and we deserved to win. But 4-1 flattered us (imo).

Fixed it for you ;)

It was funny and witty by the way. Ok, you've convinced me. Let's keep him. Doubt we'd save enough to bring a winger in from his wages any ruad.

See, we can work through this things together Olle.

(in case you're wondering, you're the bitch)

With the way you went off the handle at my comments about Cofie, I woud suggest that you are the one with the predominant estrogen cells. Mind you, she does actually have a striking resemblance to me. It's the chin(s) more than owt.

Bad luck would be a defender attempting a clearance hitting a teammate and the ball going in and them losing the game by that goal, thats bad luck.

What you've described is bad play IMO.

They didnt pick Miller up at the corner - No luck involved
Hughes shot missing - Should have got the shot on target - No luck involced, not as though he missed an open goal for 6 inches out.
Maguires First Goal - Poor marking - No luck involved
Maguires Second Goal - Lucky as fuck - ;) But you could say maybe a better keeper would have been better positioned to save it.

This is why these players are in League 1, if they were excellent at everything they would be in the prem or playing for Barca.

As I said, I do agree 1 - 4 flattered us, 0 - 2 would have been right.
