It's a good price, but I'm hoping it's more of a speculative signing a la L Freeman than one we're expecting to make an impact at first team level in the RCM role straight off.
From watching him, he needs a lot of touches with the ball & he's also not the most physical / athletic. It will take a while for him to improve these qualities.
Sounds like you're talking about Sander Berge to me![]()
Sander still isn't there yet and he's been here a while and been given a lot of minutes.
I know you shouldn't always take much notice from youtube, but he does look some player
Edit: I could watch this all day
Were they mocked up in a studio ?Dont believe these clips.....
I remember watch Zico and thought he was the fastest man on earth, but then didnt end well..................

Yes, absolutely, by his Chinese agent who works part time for HuaweiWere they mocked up in a studio ?![]()
Need to build the team around him, he’s class.Sander's improving all of the time. He's very young & you see in glimpses all of the makings of a very fine footballer. I'm not worried about him.
But you're right if you're alluding to his slow start & the time it can take to get up to standard. Sander still isn't there yet and he's been here a while and been given a lot of minutes.
I think that's what cw thinks and will ultimately do.Need to build the team around him, he’s class.
He's definitely young enough to build a team around him but would that be healthy?.I think that's what cw thinks and will ultimately do.
We're on about Berge mate not swift. I do agree we need some players up front and in midfield with some guile and trickery though. He's definitely young enough to build a team around him but would that be healthy?.
Not Wilders way in my opinion! he's more about the team and team ethic ,great signing if he signs (great in the art of deception and dribbling ).
We are desperate for what he has to offer as we lack that ability to take players out of the game by sheer individual quality .
Overlapping centre backs is great but we dont have any nous driving through the centre Fleck gives us some of that but we need that bit of sheer trickery (TC style )

Nope. Swift will be brought in to play RCM, we aren't going to start playing a 5-diamond-1If he signs, a change of formation beckons? Same back 5. Berge sitting. Fleck left. New RCM. Swift at the tip of the diamond? Or Berge / Fleck sitting. Swift right. Freeman left. One up front?
We’ve not played Freeman all season and now you have us changing the formation to accommodate him.If he signs, a change of formation beckons? Same back 5. Berge sitting. Fleck left. New RCM. Swift at the tip of the diamond? Or Berge / Fleck sitting. Swift right. Freeman left. One up front?
Maybe he’s Freeman’s replacement. We’ve not played Freeman all season and now you have us changing the formation to accommodate him.
That will be summer next year then, cos the pre-season thats coming will be the shortest one ever.I haven't seen much of an improvement in Berge as yet, not knocking the lad hopefully we will see him at his best next season after a full pre season.
What? Most improvement in a player I’ve seen in a player for a long time, he’s gone from worryingly not in the game to the heart of the teamI haven't seen much of an improvement in Berge as yet
He was our best/ most consistent player for 4 or 5 games when we had that little spurt of form v spurs wolves etc, massively improved from before the Coronaaaa breakI haven't seen much of an improvement in Berge as yet, not knocking the lad hopefully we will see him at his best next season after a full pre season.
