Rangers won’t be offering him big wages, so unless the lure of European football helps, I can’t see him joining them.

I’d prefer he stays, the more I think on it.

I like the continuity. We have a few players who can improve themselves and the team just by staying put, being a year more mature and experienced and really come into their own. He’s at an age to be one of them with the right attitude. He’s got good athleticism, has a decent cross on him and an eye for a goal. But he’s not the next incarnation of Lampard or Gerrard. So if his Agent is telling him that, then seeing teams who finished beneath us as the only ones interested should should his true standing.

It’s been a squad game for a number of years now and it’s not as if Norwood and Berge will play all 90 mins of every league and cup game.

I just think by not signing a deal or not going, he’s allowing negative feelings to build.

If he signs after the season has started, even then, fans will think it’s because he didn’t get a better offer.

So for me, it really is shit or get off the pot time.

Either hurry up and sign for West Ham, one of those that might genuinely offer more money, or sign a new deal and stay. Pissing around weighing up whether to go to say Palace, Burnley or Brighton is not a good look for anyone.

Egs and Duff have shown the way. Take your choice but do it sooner rather than later.

Is there a cut off point for name your Euro squad members for teams playing in Europe,? Rangers already started pre lim rounds.

When is the squad deadline day for teams playing in Europa League,i know Rangers have already started prelim games ??

There's always the possibility he will sign the contract, maybe it is the minor details that are holding things up - who knows ?
maybe CW thinks he can afford to sacrifice him to generate funds for incomings. - who knows ?
Maybe he is asking for too much and CW says "there's the door" - who knows ?
Does anybody know ??

We don’t know, but there’s been enough rumours that he’s been after stupid money for a while and there’s often no smoke without fire.

If it was just the minor details to work out, would it really have taken about 6 months to get it sorted? Doubt it.

Wilder obviously thinks he’s replaceable and has put a valuation on him, hence placing him on the transfer list.

As a Finn following closely our quite incredibly bad national team – Glen Kamara is always seeded a certain place in the opening line-up, and is considered one of the very few ”stars” the team has – I don’t personally see much reason to even think about bringing Kamara to BDBL. It’s not that he gets a lot of stick from the Rangers fans week in and out (yet Gerrrad seems to play him 90 minutes all the games), but I fail to see as to just exactly his possible role in Blades would be. He’s hardly a replacement or a sparring buddy to anyone in the team (Blades) who’d really be needed. Then again, if Lundstram really has his heart out making a move to the ’Gers, I couldn’t see any harm done by taking in Kamara in the switch – provided that the club gets some cash as well. And anyways, as much as I celebrated Lundstram banging those goals in last season, he really needs to go now. Wherever. So I’d consider any offer exceeding a chupa chups lollipop pack in worth reasonable.

Noticed Kamara was unusually benched today.

Like I have already said on here before. I would be very surprised if the contract is still on the table, I doubt Wilder would leave a contract unsigned for the best part of 6 months.

In the time since offering Lunny a contract. We have signed contracts with Norwood, Didsy, Sharp, Basham and Egan and I think all of those deals were offered a while after Lunny had already been offered one.

He reportedly wants 60k per week which seems a little over the top. Although when he sees Jagielka receiving 50k per week...

Jags is on 50k per week and never plays apart from the odd cup games and one or two appearances in the league. Lundstram must be on half that and has scored goals, assisted goals etc. That’s why he and his greedy agent are demanding 60k per week.
He’s not on 50k, it’s complete bollocks 🤣

He is / was. Before he joined us he was training with Burnley and they refused to match the 50k per week wage demands. So he came to us on a 1 year deal on those wages with a view to moving into coaching when his 1 year deal expired. He was on 75k per week at Everton.

If you think that then you’re living in cloud cuckoo land, Lundstram will be on £10k a week max.

Even if jags is on 50k a week, which I seriously doubt, in which fucking universe does a man who's had basically half a good season out of 3 with his current club think He's entitled to earn more than a player with multiple England caps and 15 years premier league experience?
Jags wages are irrelevant in lundstrams argument. Lundstram is not worth 20 grand a week never mind 60. He needs to fuck off to rangers or the man city if the papers are to believed because hes not getting that fucking wage here. Cheeky bastard.

Exactly why his agent is pushing for 60 thousand pounds per week. It’s madness. But agents will always use other players wages as a precedent - hence the Jags wages.

Jags, with his wealth of experience could have been the difference the season, passing on his knowledge to the likes of Egan, O Connell and Bash. His presence around the dressing room alone could have been worth its weight in gold. So what’s a few million in his wages compared to staying in the Premier League? Lundstram is another matter. He has had a great season and his greedy, money grasping agent has put it into his head that he is a superstar as he scored a few goals and assisted a few more. As Jags is on 50k per week, the agent of Lundstram will have used this fact to get more money in the contract negotiations. That’s is that point that I am trying to make.

Shame he didn't accept what was on offer, he'll be very expensive to replace.

He was certainly not on 50k 🤣

He's on nowhere near 50k per week.

Now where have I seen all this bollox about wages before and how our squad will start demanding premier league wages when they see what others are earning. 💤

I just want him gone. Regardless of how good a player he is, and if you check back at my posts you’ll see I’ve been his biggest fan since we signed him. Defended him to a hilt, predicted this player would come out. But that’s not the point, I want rid of him. It’s about principal at this point. I don’t care if he goes to arsenal and gets 20 goals next season. If he thinks he’s better than this journey the club is going on, and he’s trying to tell wilder what time it is in terms of valuation and financial value, he can fuck off. Chris Wilder is the custodian of our football club, he is the bloke all the fans have trusted with the club and he treats the money as if it were his own. It makes a mockery of everything and sets an awful precedent if we allow this one bloke to override him. I honestly don’t care how good he is. The fact he’s a 7/10 ten a penny central midfielder is a plus because we can just go and get another, but again, even if was David silva I’d want rid.
