Who is most likely to take him? With no information whatsoever I'm going for Everton.

West Ham? Villa? Leeds?

I think it would also be seen as a punt from their side as well. Although he showed some good form early on, this soon dipped once his contract issue came to light and Berge arrived.

It's a difficult one. Do you hold out and wait till your valuation is met and have him in, and around the first team? Or just get rid as having an unhappy player around can create problems within the squad.

Lad and his agent need to be careful. Totally his prerogative not to sign a new deal but if no one comes in with the right offer he has a year of probably not playing much (if at all as he’s not committing to us) and in that time his stock will dramatically diminish.

He’s had a dozen or so good games (some very good) and a few people have got excited quickly. If he’s not playing he can be forgotten about just as quickly.

From United’s perspective I would want a few million for him, otherwise we may as well keep him for squad depth. He will need replacing and new recruits aren’t cheap.

Duffy has already provided that.

Burnley and Palace spring to mind.

Hard working, functional, sums up players that play for these clubs.

Apart from Zaha obvs.....

He won't be getting a pay rise at Rangers one of the few teams I've had a look at the accounts and 'staff costs' are lower than ours.

My bet he won’t go anywhere, he’ll see his contract and go on a free next year

Problem there is that CW won't use him and he will rot. He knows that from the way his Scouse mate Duffy was black-balled.

Lunnys stock is reasonably high at the moment, (not as high as he probably thinks it is) so if he wants to stay in the Prem, (and no bids have been received means there isn't any interest....yet) he either accepts the deal on the table or risks being forgotten about and signing for a Champ team next season at best, probably on similar money.

Stick or twist Lunny....???

I think you’re correct , but if results don’t go well and he train’s well Wilder will give him a chance

Nursery rhyme Humpty Dumpty tells the story of a similar weapon damaged in the English civil war.

You're welcome.

A cannon apparently placed on a wall; said wall being destroyed by an enemy cannon.

The wall came tumbling down and the cannon had a great fall.

This forum would be lost, drifting aimlessly at sea, the rigging torn and in tatters, at the mercy of Neptune, without us culture vultures ;)

Seems unlikely we'd struggle to sell Lundstram in this window. A cheap but surprisingly fashionable signing (due to fantasy football, plus good goal tally last season). Newcastle or West Ham would surely pay him 40k a week without overthinking it, especially with a below £10mill asking price.

Working under S.Gerrard could suit him, as a CM in that kind of mould. Unsure about their wage structure these days though.

According ‘tStar we are asking for Glen Kamara as part of deal.
don't know much about him, only what I've read, but he's a Finnish international I gather - defensive midfielder, only 24. So sounds alright.

Lunny is 26 and I bet he can't believe it's really happening to him that he's a Premier League footballer - potentially with a chance of picking up a huge wedge from a transfer. If I were him though, I wouldn't go anywhere near Scottish Football. That really isn't going to be good for his career. There's three or four clubs in the whole of Scotland who are of a decent level, but I doubt any of them would survive one year in the English Premier League. The rest are like part-time amateur football teams. He will not "develop" playing his football up there.

Anyhow, that's his problem.

I just want him off the books now and for us to spend that cash towards improving the team. If Wilder thinks that this Kamara guy is an improvement, that's good enough for me.

As a Finn following closely our quite incredibly bad national team – Glen Kamara is always seeded a certain place in the opening line-up, and is considered one of the very few ”stars” the team has – I don’t personally see much reason to even think about bringing Kamara to BDBL. It’s not that he gets a lot of stick from the Rangers fans week in and out (yet Gerrrad seems to play him 90 minutes all the games), but I fail to see as to just exactly his possible role in Blades would be. He’s hardly a replacement or a sparring buddy to anyone in the team (Blades) who’d really be needed. Then again, if Lundstram really has his heart out making a move to the ’Gers, I couldn’t see any harm done by taking in Kamara in the switch – provided that the club gets some cash as well. And anyways, as much as I celebrated Lundstram banging those goals in last season, he really needs to go now. Wherever. So I’d consider any offer exceeding a chupa chups lollipop pack in worth reasonable.
