Superb performance tonight and MOM according to the BBC, I'd personally give it to JOC (due to the assist) but it's incredible that we got this guy on a free from a league 1 side when Arsenal are paying £72m for their players.

Of the 14 who played tonight , 7 were either signed from league1/2 or were playing for us under Wilder in League 1.

MOTM for me as well tonight but they were all good so no real issue. His chip over the head and run round was worth anyone’s entrance money. Quality !

Played very well tonight. Not his biggest fan because he shirks responsibility when he gets in the final third.
He sorts the final ball out then he's top class.

Gradually adjusting, but took a huge step tonight. He's been a bit lackadaisical in possession giving it away, and too hesitant to play the ball or clear, looking for the perfect pass, but tonight I think that's his best performance for a long time (not that he's been bad or anything) and he got the balance just right and backed himself.

And I'd only just read from Wilder that he wanted more left foot thunderbastards from him and he unleashed 2 tonight.

Lovely bit of play when he lifted it over the head of their man, on the edge of our area, then carried it forward. Very calm, just what was needed.

My MOTM I think, although it could have been anyone. I would quibble with giving it to someone who missed the last half an hour, but I suppose scoring the winner on your first start is not to be sniffed at.

Fleck has been great since he came in. But against Liverpool and Arsenal he’s been absolutely fantastic. On the ball he’s just getting better and better. Off the ball fantastic

And what I loved about last night was despite getting booked early on, he wasn’t afraid to put the big challenges in.
Finally, he looks to be getting quicker
