I thought Fleck was superb today. The best player on the pitch.

Tenacious and powerful driving the team forward, breaking up the oppositions play in midfield and winning so many tackles. Composure as well on the ball.

Dominant performance.

I know there was talk of him joining us a season or so back but what a masterstroke by Wilder to get him and he is a big part of this winning team.

Happy days.

He was beyond magnificent today. The best player on the pitch by a country mile. If he could add a few more goals to his game we'd walk away with the league, but that's not a criticism of him by any stretch.

Our midfield must be terrifying to opposing teams. Even without Coutts today we were just too good for them for long spells.

Best player in the league not just on today's pitch....Ginger Wizard.

How the hell hes not in the Scotland squad God only knows....or more accurately Gord only knows.

Surely we should have a song for him by now?

He is good enough for the championship, he has all the tools to be a very good midfielder and I hope he will follow us through the descent to the promised land

There has to be scope for something about John Fleck to the chorus of The Relfex by Duran Duran.

Wordsmiths, do your work...

Can we put words to flower of jockland?.....in fact I might have a go!

Oh young John Fle-eck
When will we see your like again
That fought and died for
Those mighty Bladesmen
And stood with him
Chris Wilder's army
And sent them onward
To win again

I'll get mi coat...

Oh Robbie of Jockland,
Came on a free, from Coventry.....
Where nobody watches...and those that do remain
blew fucking whistles....
To put off United,
Fleck sent them homeward...tae think again....

Little dig at them fuckers would be worth it!

Just for you WalthamstowBlade

John Flecks got a massive penis
For jumping on our lass
John Fleck doesn't eat a balti
'Cause he sometimes gets bad gas
Every little thing that John Flecks does
Is ab-so-lutely class.....
It's John Fleck.

Here all week, try the fish.......

To the tune of "my old man's a dustman," that's not bad at all. It's just the bit about the fish that doesn't scan.

Surely it's gotta be the old Stephen Quinn song

"Oh Johnny Fleck, you are the love of my life,
Oh Johnny Fleck, I'd let you shag my wife,
Oh Johnny Fleck, I want ginger hair too"

Fleck will play as a regular in the Premier League for the best part of of the next decade.

Let's hope beyond hope that even if it's not with us that at least for once we get the appropriate fee for him.

Nothing less than £10m.

Quite a statement.

He's a decent player at this level, but in fairness it looks like he's made poor career choices. Leaving Rangers he had a solid background and no doubt he should've looked at a better option than Coventry City.

Premier League? Has he player there at all? He certainly needs to be in a side on the up rather than one coming down.

League one he stands out, but not every game. Championship? Premier League. Think only time will tell.
