Much like you did with Clough and your constant claims about his mental health
And you're ironic. You're not right in the head.
And you're ironic.
No, I'm saying you're being ironic and hypocritical. You saying it's not true he said that? Many times?
How much is Collins on a week these days?
No, I'm saying you're being ironic and hypocritical.
You've made a fool of yourself. Admit it and move on.You accept its true then? Good.
No, my comment is based on what ive read. Not some irrational dislike of a football manager and now a player linked to him, which has never been explained btw.
Good to see the Cavalry is here though, even if it is Georgie Custer.
And that's the level of your debate. The answer to the question "how many people agree with you it was Brayfords fault" is met with that, which is actually not true btw. Tell you what, how about a majority?
You're not right in the head.
You've made a fool of yourself. Admit it and move on.
Attempting to argue against it just makes you look worse.
Nice deflection. Shame he's not the same poster.
LOL. If that's all you've got then I think we're done here, aren't we?
To finish off you could say how many agreed with you. On this thread and the other one.
Plenty have said Brayford was partly to blame, on here and Bladesmad.
And if you want to throw mental health accusations around you should probably reassess the way you, a 60 year old grown man, obsessively target individuals and relentlessly pursue righteousness on a fucking football forum!
Have to disagree there, Brayford doesn't have close to the level of skill and technique which Lowton had. They are similar in terms of stamina and their willingness to attack but Lowton was more comfortable on the ball, wasn't afraid to take his man on and try and enter the box, was a better finisher, a better passer and simply a better all round player. I really don't think Brayford is as good a player as some make him out to be.
I stress again that I do like him as a player, and I love his attitude. Whilst he's an improvement from some of the gash we've seen at RB in League 1 I'd say he's not close to the standards set by Lowton, Walker, Naughton, Geary.
He was terrific in his loan spell, he hasn't got close to that level since though unfortunately, and I'm starting to think that run of form was more a flash in the pan than anything else.
and surprise surprise, it turns out I was spot on to do so.
I don't think there much, if any, correlation. Coutts is getting back to his best because he's regained full fitness and playing out right. I don't think Bratford's forward play has been better than Freeman's this season. If any, the other way round. Brayford is superior defensively though, but again not by much this season.
Disagree and this is a classic example of your rather narrow, over-simplified views on football management that leads to accusations of your video games prowess. We all knew a lot of this squad wasn’t good enough. I suspect deep down, Adkins knew it to. But he has to manage a dressing room full of men, probably half or so of whom are disappointed that the old gaffer has been shown the door. He has to win them over quickly and get the best he can out of them because let’s face it, he’s going to be stuck with the majority of them because they’re under contract and not good enough for people to want them off us. Therefore, he has to make the best of what he has. Couple this with his knowledge that he turned a rag-tag bunch struggling in the bottom half of league 1 into Premier League players and England internationals before, he might have thought he could do it again. To be fair to him, it has worked to an extent in that Coutts is now proving to be a better player than we all gave him credit for and McEveley and Kieron Wallace have shown some improvement.
You have no idea about the group dynamics of a dressing room but assume you are “right”. The fact of the matter is as fans, we never have the whole picture so never know if we have been right or not about these things with the exception of tipping players to move up or down the leagues.
For someone with their fair share of wrongs (Mansett, Higdon, Hall, Moussi, Brandy etc.), you are very quick to continue for not making the decision you would make. Perhaps those people know more than you do?
I’m absolutely flabbergasted that you think that. But, it is your opinion and you are of course entitled to it. I suppose we all see the game differently.
So you think by signing new players within his first 6 weeks in charge he would've upset the dressing room and given himself an uphill battle? There are countless examples of new managers coming in and bringing in their own players quickly without any negative impact. There's no argument to justify Adkins' decision to waste so much time when he probably knew full well many of them weren't good enough.
The club's success rate with signings in recent times is worse than mine. So maybe they don't know as much as you assume.
Which bit?
I can understand you disagreeing regarding Brayford and Freeman, and as you say, we all see the game differently.Brayford is the better player overall, no doubt about it.
As for Coutts, I think the only person getting Coutts back to his former self is Coutts. It helps a lot that he's being played on the right though.
Have you never done a dump deserving of a round of applause? As my mate said halfway through the second half "Brayford could take a dump on the pitch and some people would still clap him"
There isn't one L1 club that would not love John Brayford as their RB. Not a one.
And a good many championship clubs as well.
One of perhaps only a handful of players that could hack it in the league above If we ever get out of this feckin division !!
UTB
I do wonder if Brayford is lacking a bit of pace since his injury. Time will tell.
Not quite sure Id class Coutts as a talisman - no goals (?) and not many assists. He has played fairly well, but he needs an end product.
dont talk like an idiot, the reason why hes struggling defensively is because adkins is happy for john brayford to work with coutes down the right as an overlap winger, the poor sod is probably so tired by constantly bombing forward that he has no legs towards the end of the game. if adkins played a half decent winger then brayford would defend much better, so blame adkins for the woefull displays not brayford.
heh.. nice. he was dreadful today .. it doesn't help that Coutts kept neshing out of perfectly winnable challenges and leaving him out of position thoughBump.
