Job 1 for David Weir is to drop Doyle as Club Captain and get his own player in / or give it to someone who deserves it and you will know will give 110% to the club.

Job 2 ...

Doyle may revert to the player he was the previous season under new tactics and a motivational manager.

True, and the same applies to KMac to a certain extent. Also depends on having the right forward thinking players around them.

and if in his judgement,Doyle remains club captain and starts ?

Wait... I agree with Jacko.

Someone kick me in the knackers, I must be dreaming.

Who'd of thought it?

I suspect DW [easing into initials already!], having been fit enough to play at a high level into his 40s, will be aghast at some of our lads' condition. Intensive training beckons for some, I think, not least our Underachiever of the Year, K-Mac. I would expect DW to require a great deal more of him than DW was prepared to tolerate.

DW.

Maybe an earlier than planned return to pre-season training beckons for them Pinchy, let's wait and see eh?

"My first aim is, obviously, to get this club back into the Championship as soon as possible, but looking ahead I want to build something real special at Bramall Lane and give this wonderful club some sustainability, with plenty of excitement along the way."

Sounds good to me.

I wonder if any of Moyes' tough pre season conditioning will have rubbed off on him, did anyone read or see the reports about the drill's Moyes did with his side at Everton in pre season? Be good to know a few of ours go through something like that to learn a bit about hard work.

Surely job 1 is to appoint his assistant,
job 2 various discipline coaches,
job 3 post "new job on Facebook"
Job 4 get fitness assessments done
Job 5 get car washed

Job 644 appoint captain

I wouldn't think he'll know much about us so he needs to see the players train, play and interact then appoint his captain.

I'm not sure the strained budget will stretch to discipline coaches. Do you think they would improve our performance?

Well we need to play a disciplined style.

No defenders fannying about with the ball, dogs of war in the middle of the park, big target man upfield and a long throw specialist we can look forward to give us some excitement. If we get a decent one then we can bring an air raid siren to the line like the Tranmere fans of the 90's did to for their great long throw specialist.

Why go anyway other than Route 1, when route 1 is the most direct.

The Hoofwaffe know best

Job 1 - appt assistant.
Job 2 - watch players train
Job 3- discuss who should be captain with assistant

Oh, this isn`t going to get confusing at all...

Blimey - I can see it now. Rows of carrots and runner beans with a coop housing chickens for us eggs.
If only Ricahrd Briars was still alive - he could be the assistant - maybe Felicity Kendal is in the frame?

Have..!!! Who'd have thought it?- as in 'Who would have thought it/that?'

Aye aye aye aye aye........ and you of all people DW. :(

It was a response to a response from mpjacko, if you trace it back.

I'm pleased someone noticed, at least.

;)

1. Sign Forte!

... Only joking

1. Hire an experienced no. 2
2. Give Collins captaincy

Then please accept my humble apologies for pulling you up over it. I guess I should of known better.

Have course you should. I do not accept your apology. It does not of the ring have sincerity.

Quite simply, I of of'd enough have all this!

:)

Just about, Yes. It's not elegant but it uses the correct words, has a discernable meaning and doesn't purport to turn a preposition into a verb.

Pinchy's been outed as fronting the latest attempt to shoehorn English into a Latinate grammar. :)
