He look ok for a few games but being raw made some simple and stupid errors in his early games.
Against R'dale he just looked as though he has spent the majority of his none playing days in the gym....brick shit house came to mind.

Completely agree. There are very few players in our current squad that don't deserve a chance, thats for sure. I personally believe that you can't write players off, which is what we tend to do at United. He needs to take his chance now, but be prepared to sit out for loner spells again and learn from it all.

This is player who hasn't kicked a ball in a first team match all season, and only played 12 matches the season before. He's was a Championship level player who's been inactive for a couple of vital years given his age. I think he'll be a benefit to us and I'm glad he's signed but it's not like we've signed a superstar at this level.

Edit: OK he's played a league cup match - point still stands though.

yes, it's a good point, but then he has dropped two divisions (probably only cos it's Adkins). Some patience might be required depending on his match fitness levels. Oh did I say patience, silly me

Bloody hell I remember that, poor old Cressy, stood on the side lines, waiting for the assistant ref to hold up his board and the boos started! Disgraceful.

While never a world beater, Cresswell was a cagey old pro, scored some goals and was never afraid to get stuck in and put his body on the line when called for.

And also, he gave us this moment to smile, laugh, cherish.

To be fair ..... if he actually has two legs and can stand & look in a determined and mean way at the other team's midfield he will be an improvement on our midfield !!
