It has it's good points and it's bad, For me Henderson was our super loanee last time we went up and it's taken us a hell of long time to replace him.

Just watched his post match interview. What a lovely kid and a quality footballer. Premier League pedigree for sure. He's been unlucky not to score by now and could have had a couple more today. Long may it continue.

Agreed, remember that lad from Man U we had? Came across as if he thought he was too good for us but was wank.

JSR seems to be a good kid, probably doesn’t know how good he is - perfect fit for this group

James 'there's only one United*' Wilson.

* Newton Heath, not yer' original one.

The lads a talent without a doubt & he showed that against Luton .. like with some of the other youngsters there gonna have their ups & downs .. the one thing both Brooks & JRS need to work on is their composure on the final ball / cross into the box … Doak last night for Boro was excellent and his final ball / delivery were excellent ⚔️

Just confirmed by Chris that RAK-SAKYI can't be recalled in January.

He didn’t quite say that. He said he’s 100% confident he is here for the season. Sorry to be picky, but Wilder potentially bluffing in a press conference about his confidence level doesn’t translate to a contractual clause.

After hearing of Boro's young winger , Doak , rampaging down the RW for Scotland ,
I think we are failing to get the most out of RakSaki by continuously playing him "inverted" down our RW when his Lfoot is clearly stronger.
Wilder only plays one winger at once (Brooks or RakSaki) and both are made to play on their "wrong" side.
RakSaki on the R means he always has to cut inside instead of beating his man on the L and putting in crosses.
We wonder why we don't score many but we don't put the early crosses in for our strikers to attack.
Please Mr Wilder , at least get our winger to swap flanks from time to time during the game so that we get some crosses in.
And Hamer/O'Hare are both Rfooted so would benefit from being on the R.
This simple change could increase the chances we create , especially if we speed up our attacking play.

Don't we have Burrows to put in those crosses though? I think Rak-Sakyi would benefit from a more attacking-minded RB. Gilchrist is doing a great job as a defender and I definitely don't want him out of the team, but he's not the overlapping type. So Rak-Sakyi (or Brooks) has to do a lot on his own.
Personally, I like the idea of having someone like O'Hare on the left side inverting and creating space for an overlapping Burrows. We've seen how good Burrows can be in attack. You don't really need a winger to complement him, imo.

where did the u21’s play him last night? Looked like a straight swap down the right

have to agree where were playing o'hare just doesnt suit him put him out left and move hamer inside also think rak-saki could play the 2nd striker position

As mentioned earlier, he's confident he will stay, but there's no clause that says he is staying, or absence of a recall clause

It won't happen. He's not quite ready for a PL run, but he will be by the end of the season.

Agree.....he's too inconsistent to be a starter at Palace.....they would (at best) just use him as impact sub for the last 10 to 15 minutes
and I've now doubt that he's talented enough to have the odd impressive cameo performance even at PL level but he's too hit and miss.

You can see how he's slowly and gradually improving though out the season but he's a bit like James McAtee and still a bit of a luxury player.
He toughened up his game but needs to be in a side having plenty of possession playing attacking football.
Playing for Sheff Utd at the top of the division gives him freedom and a chance to build up some confidence.

He's clearly making progress here but going into the PL this season would bring that progress to a halt.
I'm pretty confident that Palace will listen to feedback from JRS and if he's happy here....I'm sure he'll be here for the full season.

It would be kind of embarrassing if a club like Palace recall JRS because they are pinning their hopes to avoid relegation on an untested novice Academy player. Think the only possible way he could return is if they have an injury crisis and have no other options in that position
or for some reason JRS is really missing South London and is desperate to return to be near his family.
