He's got a lot to prove. He's obviously well thought of and has a load of potential. But he's gonna have to start delivering sometime soon, or it's another career sliding away down the divisions.

Let's hope that, if he signs for us, he puts a shift in and fulfills all that potential.

He's not had a proper run of games, but he appears to have all the attributes to make it, along with a fine pedigree and a smattering of top flight appearances. From the little I've seen of him, he'll bring pace and a physical presence up top, something it's evident we're lacking. We can't afford to acquire a player with his attributes along with a proven goal scoring record; they're the most sought after players in the game. Get this lad in on loan, and who knows, maybe he'll turn out to be one.

But they're not available, Sean. Speaking only for myself, I'd prefer this kid to either. I've seen the other two's strengths and weaknesses and would sooner move on. Tufty positively wanted rid of Ol'Jug Ears and wasn't devastated at the loss of DCL.
