Stupid question but were these two fully confirmed. They are still not listed as players for us on official site. Beginning to think they were just a fever dream.

Has anyone heard how these two are getting on yet? Didn’t know if there were any rumours from the training ground to say whether the next best things or a couple of Colibalys 2.0’s

I heard on here somewhere that Jefferson Cáceres is impressing in training. Think Nwachuckwu isn't training with us yet, still waiting for his work permit.

Once Hamer, serki and Cannon Moore are back players with minutes are not going to get in the squad not including the Gilchrist issue.

Only injuries will likely give them a chance.

It's going to farcical when neither get permission to play for us.

These were definitely not Wilder signings.

This was a hint of potential within a progressive scouting system.

do we want a progressive scouting system?

All the signs are no and we just want Fred Arbuckle and Albert Tennyson from round here.

Nonsense. The new ownership will have consulted with CW and he has publicly said he was happy taking a punt on these two.

I'm pretty sure that Wilder will be on board with these signings. Given that they don't appear to have diverted cash from the top target signings, what has he got to lose?
I'm also hopeful that discussions have been had during the process of renewing Wilders contract, along the lines of laying out to him the new club strategy, and testing his buy-in to the approach.
Everything says that we will need a radically different approach if we are to establish ourselves in the Premier League. For what it's worth, I think that the new owners will be deadly serious in this ambition. For their part, they will, I believe, to be ready to invest on a scale we haven't seen before. While they clearly rate Wilder, they won't let him get in the way of the plan, and I don't doubt that he knows this. The days of one man calling most of the shots are, I think, behind us.
I hope so, anyway. If we can combine financial clout with high powered recruitment analytics, new fitness insight, and Wilders man-management and exceptional rebuilding capabilities, then we're in with a shout. Depth of tactical awareness and thinking would be the one area that worries me, and I wouldn't be surprised if they are thinking of further bolstering our ranks in this respect. I want Wilder to stay with us, but I think he knows he will need to accept change if he wants to do that.
Some of our owners take no messing in their respective fields of business, and don't fail. I don't expect their attitude to their investment in us to be any different.
