Bournemouth are in trouble if they are hoping he's going to be their main striker for the near future..!

Never rated him, can't stand how he carries on but I can't say he's put me off vaginas altogether.Spoilt twat for me.
Jordan Slew’s been mentioned a few times on here, with it being implied mostly that he messed things up by moving to Blackburn at a young age for a big fee, and presumably decent wages at the time.Yep …. There is a long list in football of players with potential who have been down this road! He should have talked to Jordan Slew for a starter!!!!
Idiot parents / greedy agents!
Nicely summed up.Jordan Slew’s been mentioned a few times on here, with it being implied mostly that he messed things up by moving to Blackburn at a young age for a big fee, and presumably decent wages at the time.
Is that true though? Can any young player seriously reject an offer of a 4 year deal at a club in a top division and decide ‘No, I think I need to stay in this lower division club for a while’. Professional footballers are always a change of manager, change of club’s fortunes, or serious injury away from being out of a job. Would there be anyone who would seriously advise a player to reject an invitation to a big contract at a club higher in the football pyramid?
And what can happen if they stay at United instead? What happens if you don’t move when an offer comes along?
If you look at the level Slew’s played at, it looks pretty similar to another lad born in the 90s who came through United’s youth system: Jake Eastwood.
Both have spent their entire careers pretty much on loan at lower league clubs or Scottish clubs or even spells in non-league.
Slew moved to Blackburn.
Eastwood stayed at United.
Both played at the level that matches their ability.
Now, heading towards age 30, Eastwood is injured at Grimsby in league 2; the other side of 30, Slew is at Morecambe in league 2.
They played each other last season, Eastwood on the bench, Slew in the starting 11.
Did Slew really make a mistake going to Blackburn when he was 19?
Did Eastwood ever turn a move down? Was anybody ever interested? If they had been, should he have grabbed it while he was still young?
I don’t know what Slew was earning on his Blackburn contract, but if it was decent money, his employment moves look to have been pretty reasonable to me.
“Good riddance” was what my Watford supporting mate said too.My Hornets buddy, says good riddance. He is of the opinion, the lad thinks he is better than anyone else thinks of him. Shame really.
One on one with keeper and nearly messed it upScores for Bournemouth![]()
He'd be getting lots of game time for us if Wilder had paid £23m for himPhwoooooooar almost missed that
I hope he does stay at Bournemouth (he won't, they'll send him on loan somewhere lower than Watford) because he won't get 30min game time all season.
He can’t play for a three clubs in one seasonPhwoooooooar almost missed that
