And plenty of time to bring in another forward as well.

Good news for the club as he will provide competition and be a useful player off the bench.

Just don’t see him starting many games, which he would have got at Burton.

He’s a great & like a new signing for us right now. If he wasn’t already our player & we went out and signed a 19 year old lad who’s been scoring 1in every 2 in league one we’d all be pretty happy with that. If he bags a few for us this season he’ll be a £15-20m player

Their fans seem pretty upset about a bench warmer being recalled...

Can’t see billy and mcgoldrick playing 3 games a week plus if one gets injured he’s in while Brewster is out !

Amazing that our mid-30s "legs long gone" OAP Billy seems virtually immune to injury (29 appearances this season!) whilst all those in their early 20s or younger can't keep off the treatment table.

Yeah of course. That’s why he’s back.

McB will sadly be involved in the rotation you suggest above also !

At least it’s given the media department something to do this morning

Sensible decision to bring him back. Brewster with no injuries or history of them this season and I'm in the leave him at Burton camp to continue to get game time and learn his trade. But Brewster has got imjury issues and therefore common sense dictated that he has to come back. The door is now open for lad to stretch himself and try and get into the Utd team as a starter. Be lovely to see him doing well for us.

He's need to score loads to reach anywhere near that value.
He's still young and learning...so isn't likely to excel this season.
It's next season he might start showing his ability.

Basically heaping pressure on someone starting his career is unfair because he's very unlikely to deliver this season.
Then you can bet some of our fans will say "he's crap, get rid"
Think he'll be a good option as a sub and because he has similarities to Brian Deane.....his appearance should galvanise the fans lifting the atmosphere.

dont think hecky had any alternative but to bring him back after brewsters injury and moussets departure i think he could be pushing for a start and personally would sooner have jebbo starting than mcblunder

Jebbison should never have gone on loan. Really good young player worth giving game time.
How much game time would he have got at bdtbl?
He has gone out to learn from a guy who was one of the best in his field
He has played matches
Scored goals and admits himself that he has developed as a player and a man.
It is part of his learning process

Understand that but for the strikers we had especially with injuries and form he should have been given a chance.

Ideally I would have liked him to stay at Burton for the remainder of the season - his time there to date and working closely with JFH will have done him far more good than occasionally making Utd's bench.

However, needs must and I don't think PH had much of a choice but to recall him after Brewster's injury. Going into the remainder of the season with Sharp, McG, a recovering McB and an injured Brewster would have been daft.

Let's hope he gets plenty of opportunities and shows what he can do.

Does he really need to score loads to reach that price tag though? We payed £20m plus for Brewster who scored a decent amount for Swansea but not ‘loads’.

There will be absolutely no pressure for him to deliver from most Blades. It’s just nice to see 2/3 academy players in the team.

We’ve paid good money to put him through our academy perhaps its time for us to see what he’s learned and the benefits of being at Burton its been a successful loan for both clubs and player.
