No way!? you can't say GAY, that's not the way to play, you should turn and walk away!

I think your having our end away, why the fuck should we sign Jay O'shea, I don't care if he is one of the gays, but I don't personally swing that way!!
Maybe he should stay to play the chessy way, a smaller club, alot less pay, or maybe he just wants away!?
But it will all come down to Wilders way, so let's wait and see the cards we play!!

As Frankie Howerd would say, "Nay!", would we really sign this Jay O'Shea?, a man who plays the Chessie way, what would Mr. Wilder say? (or indeed, McCabe, as he would pay), we can talk about this all day, but one things sure, so this I'll say, no matter what, come what may, I fuckin hate Sheffield Wednesday

Sheffield Wednesday, who the fuckin he'll are they!?
I only know of the pigs from up that way, they're the ones from south Barnsley, and we shouldn't give a shit what McCabe might say, I'm sure our Chrissy will get his way!!

Jay Oshea? Oh Nay Nay Nay! He only plays the Chessie way. We don't want to provide his pay so let's persuade him not to come but stay. I want United to continue to play in the 'Wilder, winning way'. That may be bad news for Jay O'Shea but I don't want United to regret the day. Oh, and just a question, if I may, about the origins of Jay. Does he come from Whitley Bay or is he a scouser Ey, Ey, Ey?

Love to be proved wrong which wilder more than likely will. But on a scale of 1-10 of exciting signings this is around the 2/3 mark.

A player who will never cut it in the champ and will need to offload immediately if we get promotion.

How many times have you seen him to make that definitive judgement?

I'd love to see quotes from here when we signed Gillespie, Allision etc.

Mind you, I could read the comments when we signed Jake Wright snr...

Trust wilder. Simple.

Spot on.

It always makes me laugh when certain posters come on here and say "he'd be a reyt signing".
How often have they actually seen them play ?
I mean I take it they go to watch Utd when we are at home, so that's half the Saturdays gone. Now I guess they could travel about on the other half watching players but I doubt it.
There is always the football league show I guess, so that's 5 seconds of highlights.
There's always that reliable source U-Tube or Wikipedia.
Now unless there is a dedicated football channel that I don't know about that shows every clubs whole games, I don't see how anyone make that judgement.

On his day it's a really good signing at this level but he's not a very consistent performer. He also needs game time to be good.

Agreed. I only go on what I see when watching the Blades, what I see on football league goals, what I read about who was man of the match (press or online), and stats (goals, assists, clean sheets, etc.). This is one of the reasons that I very rarely "suggest" a player. The two that I have mentioned in recent weeks, were based on stats alone; Marcus Maddison (scores a few and assists) and James Vaughn (4th best scorer in the league and playing for a club hovering around the trap door to League 2).

Wilson's sacking could affect any deal for O'Shea? Or maybe Wilson's comments yesterday about players not going was he final straw for the board who presumably want players to go to balance the books and you could tell Wilson was really annoyed (understandably) about the situation.

An inventive but lightweight player. He'd be a decent stand-in for Duffy, if we hadn't just signed one.

Will only be worthwhile if Carruthers' injury is bad.

I'd much rather see a convincing wide player come in.
