Probably bullshit but seen a few bits floating around on f.b.
Facebook.nuff said.

Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

Jamie Ward too good for this league.

More likely to see Ashley Ward return.

Seemed to become a bit of a billy big bollocks towards the end of his stay here. No thanks.

apart from the game he tore into the wednesday defence at bramall lane-he never recovered after.
but maybe do ok at this level.

It's the sort of rumour you worry might actually be true. But I wouldn't be too concerned - he ain't coming here any time soon.

never happen. Hes in and around Derby's first team

Won't come fortunately. Flattered to deceive when with us, too big for his boots by the time he left. We don't need his kind of attitude.

too big for his boots or bad man management from blackwell?

He's just signed a new contract extension with them, and has been told he'll be used as a striker this season. He's started all three of their league games, and has the number 10 shirt. Yeah, sure he'll drop down to League 1 to join us.

Scrap that then! Good scouting Tarquin

Dyer should have been signed, beggars belief that he wasn't. Britton must have got a sore neck as well while he was here

We tried to sign Dyer but he told Blackwell to do one as he didnt give him a proper chance until near the end of his loan spell, when he ripped Wolves to bits at Molineaux on New Years day

ward no thanks, thinks he's better than he is and am i the only blade when looking at swansea and think what if as reguards britton wasted here absolutley wasted nice 1 blackwell and if we have to go for a young midfielder when he's finished at pompey, connor clifford played on loan at a lot of the lower league teams plymouth, etc, etc, could be worth a look on loan think his contracts up at chelsea this year an all

Whilst I have no trouble at all in apportioning Hoofy the blame for most of the worlds ills, and would happilly buy some stocks and pelt him with hard objects all day, I don't believe Britton is one for him.
He bought him and then was sacked (see my petition to have this date made into a Bank Holiday) before he got a chance to ruin him and so, therefore, this was left to others to acheive.

Agreed in principle, but Blackwell helped to contribute to the directionless boot-it-upfield-without-any-thought football that was then so ingrained at the Lane. It would take a couple of seasons before Britton was ever going to be used well at the Lane.

Never gonna happen, besides, i'd rather Akinbiyi back!!!!!!!!!!!!

best[only]thing he did for us was score agin the vile other than that agree with previous poster, how??were??would britton have played if Q.P.R had'nt made a show of us first match of season and mr blackwell had remained in charge even after that carver and mr speed[rip] did'nt use m in the way he is now at swansea.a smaller version of macca and how were trying to get macca to operate in our midfield now, god could you imagine the pair of them working together now[ closes eyes and drools as if looking at jennifer love hewitt].

Yeah, and Jamie Wars shouts, not whispers....
