Doesn’t seem to me as though we’re massively behind.

Although I think he's definitely a good player, he plays on the right wing cutting inside on to his left.
We have JRS and Brooks who both play in that position.

There's other positions we need to improve first.

Yeah, winger/striker. Like BBD and Campbell.
Id love him, but I think we need a number 9, hence Cannon being a priority.
As names pop up us fans will want them all, but Wilder says he wants "position specific signings" which is understandable.

Not been impressed in the limited number of Plymouth games I have seen. I saw his stats last year and thought I'd watch a couple to specifically watch him but he never stood out. His goals and assists this year aren't exactly that of a 10 million player either. Obviously he could have been alot better in the games I didn't watch.

If the recommendation is from Des Taylor (which you'd think it is), that would definitely suggest we have a more than solid budget available. Given the loads we already have, it'll be interesting to see where we do end up spending cash. Choudhury seems like a fair shout.

He’s a good player but he’s not PL quality, which is what we should be striving for.

He’s a top end championship player in my opinion, i’ve watched a few Plymouth games expecting to be ‘wowed’ by him but he was very passive and safe at most games at this level.

I think some loan players would be better then when/if we go up we need to sign some quality that improves the 11 and phases our current weak links in the 11 into the wider squad. No point spending 10m on a champ standard player.

Leeds wanted JRS and tried to buy Hamer. Souza would walk into their midfield as well.

I dont rate Bellingham at Sunderland either, I dont know this Fee but Watson is on fire.
I just think BBD, Gus and JRS/O'Hare take some beating.

FTPE I agree that a midfield make up of that including Souza is comparable. But we haven’t got BBD yet, an who knows how long JRS is out for.

Only people linking him to us are people like you. People who are desperate to knock the club on every chance they get. How many times have you actually watched Whittaker? Is he better than our current midfielders? Will he be a success in premier league? How much is he worth? Inform us.

I would say if it's a choice of Ricky Jade Jones or Morgan Whittaker, I would probably go RJJ in terms of pace and impact even tho Whittaker probably has better technical ability.
