Bryan looked like he was auditioning for Soccer Aid that day.Bryan was awful in the cup game last season. But saying that so was Stearman
Bit in paper
McGrath was a real eye opener to me too.
It was like watching a magic trick, a form of hypnotism or mind reading.
McGrath looked so slow but was always the first to the ball.
He knew where the ball would go before it was kicked/ passed, never seen anything like it before.
He made defending look so so easy as he strolled around around the park.
Regards Jagielka, doubt he’d fit our style of play and assume he’d be very expensive wages for a back up player. So it’s a no from me.
Get in!!!
Welcome home Phil, great to have you back.
Real statement of intent this his experience and versatility will prove invaluable.
I think you and a number of others are greatly under estimating jags, he is a great signing for us. It's what he will bring behind the scenes not just on the pitch that will be invaluableI hardly think it's a 'statement of intent' - I can't see many PL teams terrified of us now that we've signed Jags.
However it's a good solid bit of business and his experience will be vital if we are to finish 17th+
Like the thought of getting Jagielka back.
We'll need his experience during key phases of certain games, and key periods during the season.
I think it'd give the squad a bit extra seeing him about the place and having an insight into PL football.
I agree we cant forget that basham is our most experienced premier league with 12 or 18 games with Bolton over a decade ago.

Pretty good, only 3 errors in the first sentence.
Stearman played 77 times for Wolves in the Premier.
Bash was at Blackpool.
Blackpool were in the Prem 2010/11, so only 8 years ago.
People say the quality of striker is far superior and he can help with this?
This is a player that couldn't get into an Everton team conceding 3+ regularly the first few months.
RIPGary Speed was 37 when he played for Bolton against us in the Prem last time and owned midfield with Nolan
