Apparently on trail with us according to BBC Sport.
I think i speak for most Blades fans when I say " WHO THE F**K IS JACK DEAN?"
All i can find is that he was a kid at Man U, joined Fulham at 17 and is now 19 and been let go.
Says he is a midfielder tho.... I cant hide my excitement!!!!

We are in League One, and he's been released from a Premier League side. There's a chance he'd be good enough for this level!

Jack Dean was on trial (from Fulham) with Southend in April this year. Played a couple of games for their Reserves at 'Full Back' and 'Right Back' according to the news articles on their website.
Probably being looked at as a possible replacement for Lowton, rather than midfield.
