Wow Wigan vs Gunners in other semi.

Didn't see that one coming although if Pellegrini insists on playing Demichelis, City's trophy count this year could finish on just the 1.

Hmm after the Citeh/Wigan result today i dont know weather i would have prefered Hull or Wigan.

Both plastic clubs with plastic fans any road.

4 significant Hull players will not be at Wembley - Brady and McShane both out for season. Jelavic and Long both cup-tied.

Three of those would be amongst the first names on their teamsheet. Maybe Huddlestone and Davies will pick up injuries too!!

I reckon it'll be a very good game if we keep our momentum going in the meantime.

It's the draw we both wanted, lets be right. All pressure is on them to get to their first final, but we have a useful knack of sticking it Hull and while they are good, they are far from great.

It'll be a great atmosphere because games between us generally are, the rivalry that probably started in 70/71 is still there now and unlike those twats at Arsenal who swanned around at Old Trafford in 2003 like it was a nothing game, this game will mean fucking everything to both sets of supporters.

Attention London, you're about to get supped dry...

Well, ( a good few pints in) let's hope Hull get drawn into the relegation battle and their minds are elsewhere. Saw much of their game today and they 'should stuff us' 3/4-0...BUT...we have d chance and how much better are Hull than Villa?

As I said, let's hope they are fighting for their lives in the Prem when we play them.

What a day!

UTB!

This is what happens when you get the chance to see Brayford play..

Nigel Clough just needs to play that over and over on the coach to Wembley.

They think they've got a bye to the final, I was really hoping for Hull and I reckon they might well underestimate the size of their task. Certainly prefer going into a game as the underdog, I think it takes the pressure off the players. It was a different feeling today with the majority expecting us to win. I was more nervous and I suspect some of the players were too.

Fact of the matter is that if you get a side like Hull in the semi-final it is a dream come true. It's the semi FGS, normally it would be one of the top teams.

Hull have been doing well and have strengthened well since gaining promotion, but some are cup- tied and others injured. On the day there will be loads more pressure on them, but NC said today's atmosphere and occasion made our lads very nervous in the first half - well it'll be somewhere near 70-80000 at Wembley, so they've seen nothing yet.

Nevertheless, we are all starting to believe our lads and management are good enough if they can keep playing like this.

Wish Id recorded the atmosphere in Wetherspoons as the draw was made ,it was a goalkick wooooaaaaahhhh yeeeesssssss 'Shoreham boys we are here' ,quality ,although one family out of sunday dinner didn't appreciate the shag your women and drink your beer bit.

Lots of 'Ulls fans already thinking that they are through to the final.

Great. Keep thinking that way you plastic scrubbers.

Agree with you about the cup tied and Brady fella , but McShane , nah mate he's fucking shite , and widely regarded as such by most Irish football fans .

Watcha dublin, hope you saw the match fella, great result today and it seems the house was rockin'
I did indeed IIYB , although the two gallons of ale from last night meant I was hanging a bit this morning , just going to watch the highlights again on ITV in a few minutes .
