Fans of some clubs need to decide how they want to be perceived.

On one hand it isn’t fair to blame fans of Liverpool and Celtic on what they MIGHT have done. But you can’t be getting all offended about that and then falling out with Fabinho’s wife on Twitter when she posts a respectful note on the Queen only to have to tell the same fans to show some respect with their comments.

The fact Celtic posted on their website but not twitter and Liverpool posted whilst removing the comments speaks louder than words and the subsequent graffiti shown above also does.

More so Liverpool fans, I don’t get their gripe with The Queen. Her role is largely symbolic. By all means moan at the government of the day but booing the National Anthem is just showing you’re ignorant.

I tend to agree with Maurice Maurice ’s approach when it comes to showing respect in the circumstances. If you can’t show respect then there’s plenty of spare seats to Rwanda boys.

Klopp says they don’t need to be shown how to show respect. I hope they don’t.

If i'm a snowflake for calling out refugees (and those deemed not respectful enough) being sent to Rwanda, then good! I'm a happy snowflake and not a thick fascist prick.

It's been reported today that our game v Rotherham will be played on Tuesday, November 8th. Given the Queen's death, does anyone on here know if that game will actually go ahead?

Why would anyone want to disrespect their own National Anthem? Or anyone’s for that matter? It’s just bizarre. Why would anyone have so much dislike for a 96 year old woman they couldn’t just keep their council immediately after her death?

That’s my point. If folk are so unhappy to that extent then maybe they should consider moving somewhere they’d seem less agitated.

It just seems basic human decency has gone out the window for some. Not referring to you. I can take a joke. I’m referring to the nastiness found in relation to comments on HRH’s demise.

Was watching the 'odd' protest on the news lowlights this morning. Of course there's room for dissent and I suggest the whiny bloke complaining about the 16th century treatment gather like minded individuals and join a democratic movement for change instead of making a exhibition of himself and intruding on grief.
 
The Queen? King Chas? The Pope? Why does everyone think these people matter? I couldn't give a monkey's about any of them....
And as for the everyone's thought that it would be Celtic/Liverpool fans would be the ones to disrupt a 2 minute silence, just think back to the death of Prince Margaret and the 2 minute silence that was attempted at Bramall Lane. I seem to remember it was abandoned after 20 secs as a goodly portion of the crowd started heckling. I think there's a fair chance that would happen again. Wouldn't be me doing it though. These days I'm still getting my last pint in a ten to three, so haven't seen a kick off in ages....
