Outstanding today. Has been every time he’s played for me.
Completely transforms our attacking threat even with hardly any possession when down to 10 men today.

For me his link up and quality on the ball is also excellent, as in the one-two with Enda for the goal today, the ball back to Enda to shoot today, the ball to Fleck vs Man U.
If he could compose himself in front of goal he’d be some player.

Well that would be a change because I think he's got about 12 league goals in his career to date!

He can clearly be dangerous but I don't think he's a natural goalscorer.

Absolutely but I just see him as the sort of player who will have a golden run

I think in the short time he has been with us he has been fantastic. He brings power & pace & the one thing I think has been missing from some recently, namely giving everything he has for every minute he is on the pitch. He has never before played as a striker for any team & sent out with the instruction to score goals, & as such needs good coaching to bring that out of him, but I have seen enough to think it is within him to be a goal scorer. It just shows how our luck is going at present as the ball bobbled just before he struck it otherwise I am sure he would have scored, things have to start going for us at some point don't they!

I‘m not seeing the downside that folk are seeing in Burke at all. Every time he’s played he’s struck fear in the opposition. He’s been fantastic, pace is everything and he’s got it. It’s really good to see pace in our team for once. I think he is 3x the player Callum Robinson is. In a a dire year he’s absolutely a positive. This was a very good deal for us.

We hear about press press press in the media constantly and he can do it- with him charging at you, you barely have time to blink.

The chase down and flick to Goldy against Man U was a joy. He is a proper outlet, he holds the ball up well and his passing is very decent. Yes there are flaws but c’mon in this team he’s easily proving is worth.

Him and Goldy were stand outs today both easily 8’s.
I think a WBA fan described him as a “baby chasing a balloon.”

True. But it's his exceptional pace and mental attitude to burst through the middle which made it happen. The thing I like about Burke is he makes things happen for himself.

His first touch is heavy because of how fast he's coming onto it. He then snaps at it at full stretch. If he was composed he could have feinted the shot and cut back inside for an easier finish.

I really like Oli Burke up front & for me, he has to be in our XI at the moment. He frightens opposition defences.
I said a few weeks ago that his closing down would lead to something eventually. I was delighted to see him mug Dean Henderson the other night. Another chance he created from nothing but his own hard work. If our lads could finish he'd have about 4 or 5 other assists to his name.

The ref also should've sent Luiz off when Burke took it off him on the halfway.
He also created the penalty for us away at Villa.
And he laid on two or three great chances away at WBA.
You watched the Guy's heading he can jump wins headers and isn't knocked off the ball an athlete good awareness on the floor and distribution good but not a finisher- no need for Mcburnie IMO
