Win or lose to them lot next week Im not worried as I know we have a bunch of lads out there who will give it all they have for the club and not just for the money like those cants over in S6.
At least I have pride in the lads who play for us and will still have that pride no matter what after next week. UTB

I don't know what happened between Thursday and Saturday but in Wilders interview about the Norwich game when he was asked about injuries he said,Clayton and Samir were close and other than a few bumps and bruises there was nothing to worry about !!!

I guess Sharp did something on Friday and it sounds like Clarke had to dissapear just before the game. I hope Donaldson was just kept out to be absolutely sure.

I think Donaldson will play but fuck knows what will happen with Sharp, Clarke and Wilder.

At the worst, we lose to pigs and they get the three points. Contrary to what everyone may think, it won't be the end of the world and we will get our revenge at Bramall Lane. Marathon not a sprint and we can't help the injuries that have suddenly piled up. Chill.

Ps I don't live in Sheffield and only know one pig here, so my stick won't be as bad as most of yours.

What difference does it make having the manager on the touchline? I remember Roy Keane saying that he never shouted orders/instructions from the pitch because no one listened or could hear what was being said and he took no notice of this when he was a player.

Good point. Last season when we played Southend at home (0-3 :() Phil Brown was sat near me having been banned from the touchline. His oppo. Brian Horton was on the touchline and Brown went to the referees assessor and asked if he could 'pass on a message to Horton'. This was refused but surely there's ways round this? (mobile phone? Semaphore? Aldis Lamp?) I can't see it being much of an impediment not having CW on the touchline. (he'd only have to put up with 90-odd minutes of shite from the Wendy neanderthals anyway).

Yeah I can see Donaldson starting but I can also see him pulling up the first time he try's to sprint after the Ball much to the delight of the pig fans.

He is wanting to buy a ticket for the Leppings Lane end but hasn't got enough 'loyalty' points, any offers ?

Don't think it matters too much if Wilder is in the stand. But I would be very concerned if neither Donaldson or Sharp are back. The lack of ambition in the transfer window is already hurting us and it was blatantly obvious we needed to bring two decent strikers in.
I know the transfer window was done to death on here, but how did not being held to ransom by agents become lack of ambition? Targets didn't come off, and it is a shame, but getting real value for money is important for the club also.

I'm more bothered about having Knill on the touchline than Chris.

Knill is the tactics, Wilder is the motivator. They shouldn't need motivation against the pigs but we will need a bit of fine tuning tactically as the game goes on.

Had this been September last season, then possibly. However, we have the personnel on and off the field to more than cope with Wilder being in away end leading the chants. I hope he can get a ticket

If Wilder thinks he can just push past this queue of loyalty-point-collecting-die-hard-bigger-blades-than-thou and get a ticket on the away end there'll be fucking murder on here.

The run up to this game has been terrible really.

The job Norwich pulled on us on Saturday has left a bitter taste. I know some are trying to put a brave face on it saying it's just Wilder cutting through the bullshit, but for me that's one of the first times I've seen Chris really rattled. He was right to get angry after Boro because we were hard done by. On Saturday we were just done by a side playing the game and taking liberties. Throw in a lack of firepower with injuries we've got at the moment, the game being away (is it just me or is it always at Hillsborough first? 09/10 only time in recent memory it wasn't), plus Saturday's result ending a nice little run, and I think you can say we're on the back foot.

I've complete faith that Wilder will have them up for it, but lets not forget that Wednesday ARE a good side and will prod and poke at the wounds that have opened up this last week or so.

Much as Saturday's defeat left a bit of a bitter taste as you say, let's not forget the last kick of the game festering bullet wound administered to our neighbours by a man they despise above all others as well. I think it's fair to say they received a bigger kick in the teeth than we did on Saturday, despite earning 1 point more.

Possibly. Personally I'm hoping it's really pissed us off and the lads can't wait to get on the pitch again and dish out a severe hammering for who ever is next......

Worry. Friend of fear.
We no fear swine.
Enter sty with hearts of leons.
War coming. We be ready.
Blades from Lane we be.
