Is Lundstram on the list?

He will be loaned out,to a Championship or League 1 team.

I could be wrong, but if Dowell is not good enough for Everton in the Prem, then i dont see Lundstram being good enough for us in the Prem.

Would Lundstram get into any other Prem teams squad,no.
Everton are idiots, always have been. i wouldn't take their judgement over Wilders. Dowell is easily prem. standard

Dowell may have scored against Stoke but he was lightweight, easily nudged off the ball and often gave it away.

Lundstram came on, impressed me with his strength and ability to keep the ball and actually had me thinking that he could be our "Steve Gerrard" type in the Prem.

I think he will go on to big things next season, let's see if Wilder agrees.

Dowell has played pretty well all season when he has been called upon

.

I’ve been one of the few Lundstrum fans from the very beginning.
The thing with Lundstrum is that he is an “all round player”, who can do everything and he has great leadership qualities too.

The problem with being an all rounder is that nothing stands out. Lundstrum is 6 out of 10 at everything.
Where as Duffy is sometimes 9 out of 10 at creativity and 8 out of 10 at dribbling, but the other facets of being a midfielder like tackling and box to box work Duffy is a 3 out of 10.

Lundstrum has so many attributes to is game.
I’ve been saying for ages that he could be a poor man’s Steven Gerrard who would be a stand out player in league 1.

Don’t think he’s quite good enough for the Championship, so definitely not good enough for the PL.
But the guy has massive potential and I really believe he only needs to slightly improve all aspects of his game, then he’s PL standard.
He’s worth nurturing because as stated he could end up being our version of Steven Gerard.

I hate to say this, but I think he needs to prove quite a bit and to show he's up to it. I always fear he's got an error in him, a risk of switching off, of losing concentration or of failing to track his runner.

I hope he can prove his worth though.
That is how I've seen Coutts all the time. The "never gives the ball away" thing is a total fallacy. Also it has been pointed out before several times by others who post actual pictures of game situations, where his deficiencies lie in not tracking his runner and not being mobile enough.

Your first paragraph, of course, contains an accurate description of John Fleck for most of this season. Happily, he was much more his old self in the last couple of games.

Your total disrespect of this player is shameful. I bet you still think CW should retain Coutts over Fleck , do you?
Just a couple of months ago calling him Flakey Flecky and insisting in shoutbox during a game that he was a liability and should immediately be replaced with Coutts. Thank fuck that CW did not and would never see the game like you. You see, CW stated first and foremost that he likes his player to "RUNAROUND" now we know you do not like this and you'd much more like you're static stay in position player. the picture of that car that you posted yesterday says it all. It will sit there and be admired but don't let anyone near it for fear of being scratched.
You also had disrespect for Jake Wright calling "Shakey Jakey" or something similar making him out to be a truly awful option. And whilst I would agree with you Stearman is/was a far better option if we need change a CB you then say, "if he comes back to the Lane with another club he should be greeted with real warmth and respect.
I thank Coutts for his service and the few really good games he played for us but I was never taken in by his charm like some. I enjoyed also his contributions to the promotion celebrations and his bar tendering looked great both times.

Wilder sees them day in day out so if he wants to keep him thats good enough for me.

Hes the only really physical centre midfielder we have and maybe Wilder has a man marking role.in mind for him.

Alternatively it.may be a 'money' call cus after hes made a couple of appearances from the bench hes a premiership player and they sell for a lot more than a championship player

If the shoe was on the other foot, Wilder wouldn't be paying extra money because a player had 5 appearances from the bench in the premier league.

More reasonable to suggest we don't have to offer him a new contract, he's younger and hasn't had a career changing injury.

Looking at CW/AK`s record in improving players he may yet turn out to be a stalwart squad member. Enda Stevens said the other day how grateful he is to CW for improving him as a player.

Lunny has age on his side and I guess Wilder and Knill must see huge potential. And despite having experience as a captain elsewhere, he appears to have kept his head down and worked hard on the fringes. I also can't think of many occasions where he has let us down when called upon. Just the right kind of character that we need.

I wouldn't be all surprised to see him get loaned out to a champ club, to see how he progresses with regular game time and then assessed later next season. I think the same could also apply to Kean Bryan.

Don't really have an issue with Chris keeping a couple here who are not good enough right now but have age on their side.

There are some good things he does. Can pass, can tackle, can add physicality. Qneeda to lose some timber, decision make better, including when to shoot and not and how take better care of the ball at times.

Hopefully he can improve these areas. If not, then he'll move on. Good for him that he came on at Stoke and made a positive impact.

I can’t believe the same forum worries about Norwood’s ability to step up and his error proneness, then talks about Lundstram having a role to play next season.

Those two players should not be playing in the same half of a division, let alone at the same club.

Lundstram works hard but he’s nowhere near good enough for what we need sadly.

Keeping someone who has a year left on his contract isn’t the same as seeing huge potential.

Well they haven't transfer listed him, which would be the logical thing to do if they had given up on him and wanted to recoup something. One more season to show what he can do, and then they either renew or let go.

Sorry but when I read the thread title, I couldn't help but hear Warwick Davis reading it out on Tenable after the question - 'Name Sheffield United's top 10 worst midfielders of all time'...

How the hell is he not on the list. Hes 25 not 20. Hes at his peak now. I hope he proves me wrong. But I really carnt see it
