Well you must have missed it. Because you have. And because you have missed it, you really didn't ought to be giving an opinion.
What percentage of the games he's played has he fucked up in? I bet it's somewhere short of the 100% or so Wes is managing recently

Davies has to come in. If he's ever let us down previously, I must have missed it. He's more than capable of coming in for a few games
Not sure if I’m basing it on what I’ve actually seen but I just think of the words ‘crisp packet hands’ when I think of Davies.

I would argue that it was Wes' fault for the 2nd goal too. That ball was in the air for an absolute age - the keeper has to come for it. He was stuck on his line. A shocking goal to concede however you look at it though.

He has probably cost us about 5 or 6 goals this season with huge mistakes - but are we really that surprised? Everyone knew he wasn't good enough for this level. Again, a complete failure of recruitment to not replace him. He's not going to magically transform into a Premier League goalkeeper at 32. Utterly disgraceful failure of ownership that we didn't get a replacement in for someone we knew wasn't good enough.

It's alright though - at least he's playing better because he's in the last 12 months of his contract. It could be worse.

Its irrelevant. You asked if you had missed something. The answer is yes you have. Davies is nowhere near good enough and certainly not as good as Wes. That's based on evidence i.e. watching them with my own eyes. For you to question if you've missed something suggests that you haven't.

How much wanker can Adam Davies be than a wank Wes? We have to start Adam Davies. Bring him in to the first team desperately.

Wes is making all kind of mistakes.

• Not coming out for crosses e.g. Villa.
• Not good with his feet e.g. Bournemouth
• Letting the ball go through his legs against Luton
• Error against Chelsea which left him off the fucking pitch!
Because
  • Davies is also shit coming for crosses ( Wrexham as evidence)
  • Davies is also poor with his distribution with his feet
  • dunno but he’s done a couple of weetabix dives
  • errors in most games he has played for us

Yes, cause every game for the rest if his career would be easier. He has a blinder, he's our keeper fir the next 10 years, screw up and we'll no change to the current keeper
If he has a blinder he's our keeper for the next 10 games before we sell him for peanuts

I've watched enough. There's more good than bad about Davies. Some talk about him as if he's been a disaster every time he's played, and it's not the case at all. I struggle to recall any serious fuck ups? He may not be as good as Wes, but the gap isn't massive, he is a competent keeper and can't do any worse currently. If he still can't get a look in even now, why is he at the club

No. I'm not sure we've had the correct long term answer at keeper since Kenny left, everything since then has been a combination of loans, stop gaps, alright for a short time at one level but unable to step up to a higher level, etc etc. That includes both Wes and Davies - former falls into the last category, latter falls into the second category. Should be the easiest position on the park to scout, find the right player and bring them in

Wes is not good enough. Probably all our players that we own aren't good enough. To invest in a theory that a player can't be worse is utter nonsense. Of course he can. Hence, no other manager has come close to picking Davies regularly.

Serious question marks need to be asked of our recruitment team (Paul Mitchell).

Genuinely think it.may be time.toive him on and start being more professional with our recruitment. Luton's doesn't seem too shoddy, isn't a big Blade part of their analytical/recruitment team? Nah, let's stick with good old Paul.

New first choice keeper is a must, Wes is costing us every game now, if Davies is so bad and yet Amissah can't get a game he should seriously think of leaving the club, otherwise he'll never play. If Wilder picks Wes much more he's taking the piss!

Foderingham is honestly a joke and he’s probably cost us the lost important game of the season. He truly is league one. Hamer also absolute joke

Wait, what.....Hamer is a joke? Where the fuck does that come from....? Hamer is one of our consistently better performers this season.

I get we're all a bit miserable and wound up after yesterday but these threads are absolute nonsense.

Foderingham might not be good enough for the Premier League but very obviously there are plenty of worse keepers in the world. Davies is one of them. Foderingham not being good enough doesn't mean some guy we signed to sit on the bench in the Championship is better. The whole line of reasoning is nonsense.

The only way for us to improve the goalkeeping is to bring in another one. Davies doesn't magically become Premier League quality just because Foderingham is struggling.

I don’t remember all this clamour to replace Wes during the summer although it now imperative we get someone new in the net.

Last season Wes was a perfectly adequate goalkeeper for what we needed at the same, solid and steady and could be relied upon. Since the step up he has been peppered with shots, made a handful errors that have proved costly and now it has progressed to the stage where every time we concede a goal it appears he has made an error and he looks completely shorn of all confidence. Goalkeeping is like playing as a striker. It is a position where there is nowhere to hid and a loss of confidence is catastrophic

Ramsdale might be interested in game time. :D
Was told we are signing him on loan after Villa. Great in the know this one. My son was in the McDonald's toilets on the Derby ring road and this bloke told him that he's mates with Ramsdale's dad and it's happening.

Before we get a new keeper Wes should be dropped for Davies. You can't make the mistakes Wes has an expect to start game after game.

You could play them both together we’d still conceded 3-4 every game, if we’re serious about coming straight back up there both back keepers at best. We need a new number one as a priority.

We are allowed only two loans from the English league. Don't know if we are allowed to terminate the loan agreement for Thomas

Wes was very good last year, but we needed someone to push him and we didn't. That isn't hindsight and plenty called it.

As you say , now he's having a poor run of form and we are a bit fucked as we don't have an adequate replacement
