1 - He'll be back from on holiday soon enough.
2 - Nope, he's a year left at Southampton, where he won't play. He'll not get paid up if he leaves and still doesn't want to drop to League One.

Can understand billy sharp looking for a pay off to bulk up his wages as he will be on a good wage but disappointed if his attitude is that he doesn't want to drop to league one, he could come in and be fully supported at the club he supports and it could be for 1 year only before hes back at his level

Probably right, but its difficult to judge with his recent games all being on loan which can be very hit or miss. I think he can be very good at our level and if he came here and was then we would go up and his confidence and form would be good going into the championship. If he came and failed with us then he would struggle to be anything other than a lower league player. Perhaps thats his worry!

I don't think he will be doing himself any favours by having another loan season like the one just gone. His worry will soon multiply and a move to div 1 would be just postponed for a season before he joins mid table Doncaster.
