I know you said it in tongue and cheek, but a lot of us asked the question around Hecky and his training techniques and the difference since he left is very notable.

To defend him, a lot of the injury prone players left this Summer but most of them only became injury prone under his management.

I rated him more than most, but that side of things was absolutely ridiculous.
Players would play a game, be seemingly fine, then we wouldn't see them for the next six weeks and wouldn't be given any update on their whereabouts.

I expect their players to start picking up injuries soon. I think it was about 5 months into his time here the injuries really started to become an issue.

Other variables have changed too since Hecky left though, such as we now have a very highly respected doctor in charge of the medical team rather than a physio, and a younger squad. Sometimes it’s easy to draw conclusions from one observation (Hecky leaves - fewer injuries) which aren’t necessarily linked by cause and effect.

The average age of the squad is considerably lower Think it is 24 for players based on playing time this season Wilder managing squad well Brewster didn't want to come off. But Wilder hooked him - that is good management
