Looks like the Gods have been a little unkind recently with our injury list, particularly in the striker department

Lavery and Donaldson and what appears to be now Leon, makes choices up front very limited

Fortunately and for the most part, we have a competitive "squad" thanks to CW and AK so all functioning ok presently. However, when you get hit and over burdened in one department it can affect things dramatically, so fingers crossed

It seems for Tuesday night, Bolton aren't having things all their own way either, Wheater may well now be one of them, which is a bit of a bonus cos he's a pain in the aris

We owe them one for last seasons undeserved win at theirs and also I don't like Parky, so come on you red & white wizards, let's do them.

During his interview following yesterday's game CW was asked about the extent of Donaldsons injury but no mention was made of Clarke in the subsequent exchanges . Though to be fair no one else inc Evans , Hanson etc were mentioned either .

Injuries do appear to have caught up with us following last season's very good run though .

Haven't heard owt official CHL, just that pic floating around where it appears Leon is on crutches and then he wasn't in the squad photo line-up

Not ideal if we've essentially just got sharp who can complete 90 minutes. Suspect this was why we tried for 3 strikers in the window.

Hopefully Donaldson's injury isn't a bad one.

But they have caught up with us for sure. It's gonna nessesitate a change in formation I think.

As Leon was banned for 3 games and we had the international break Is it possible that the club took the opportunity to check on his ankle injury from last year and maybe did a bit of minor surgery, cleaning out the joint or something

I think this was meant to be a joke and as people may know I am no fan of Hanson. But If there is one game this season he may be useful it's Hoofton Wanderers away. Both ends of the pitch.

Bugger that. I don't mind Hanson, he has his used. But if we try hoofing it up against them we'll lose. They have good but slightly agricultural centre backs, let Duffy, Brooks etc have a good run at em, force them to use there feet. Hope Donaldson is fit though!

If Donaldson has tweaked his hamstring, I don't see any way he will be risked on Tuesday, or even Saturday

I'm sure CW will have one eye on the 24th and will try to make sure he's fit for then

I'd agree, Sharp up front on his own is a waste of time, I'd rather see Hanson up top with Sharp and or Brooks off him.
