l don’t know what the issues are but the board need to pull their finger out.

They have had plenty of time to sign a few. Instead we see players heading elsewhere

I’m genuinely spun at the moment even in my most negative worst case scenario I didn’t see this coming.
 

If the rumour that Onel Hernandez is off to Boro is true, that genuinely does feel like a missed opportunity.
I'm not normally one for dwelling on missing players we showed no interest in, but surely he has all attributes we are missing. Proven at this level too.

Why should Hecky suffer?
 
For the first team 4 (De Smet on loan, Shankland for 1 mio, Vaca for 85k and Soumare for
300k) and Seriki on loan, also 2 for u21. None of them proven at pro league level and it painfully shows. Manager was promised 3 experienced pro league players.

Our manager was promised 4 and then later he added 1 (this was before our goalkeeper was sold). Currently we have 1 with 3 days left

It’s very painful. Signing crap is as bad as signing nobody. It gives hope, which quickly is destroyed when you see them play. Every fan knew for more than 6 months we needed some 1st division pedigree. Players that you can build on. But all they sign is foreign players unproven at our level. You cannot keep a promoted side up with signings like that. But I really sympathize with your situation. It’s unacceptable. All we want is to see the squad improve, even if it’s little steps. We are sinking like a titanic since December 2020 and United even a year longer. This is no coincidence but symptomatic for the ownership and lack of know how of the transfer market. In the meantime the prince bought a French second division team which got relegated. What’s the point if you cannot run 2 teams properly, let’s fuck up a third as well. Sorry for my negativity, I am really sad today. Our fans brought the club back to life all the way from non league back to professional football in a record period and only now to see in what a mess we are in. We hoped and expected so much more.

I agree with you 100%. Owner clearly thought he was the best owner in the world having got lucky with us and beerschot doing well. Luck has finally run out and he doesn’t have the know how or funds to fix both

Your negativity fits right in with us at the moment I think there’s serious questions to be asked across the group and I don’t think we’ll like the answers. We have a fans forum with the prince on Tuesday it’ll all be united related stuff but it might hint at wider issues across the group.
