I agree but minimal personal investment from the Prince is different to say what the glazers do at Man U and take money that the club generates out of the club.

Unfortunately he isn’t a billionaire or state backed owner. I believe I’ve heard him say a few times that he will need to bring investors on board.

There is zero evidence or opportunity of club funds being taken out the club and into the owners pocket. How would he manage that?
It’s a complete bull shit accusation with no evidence. Without evidence it’s more believable that he’s simply not got the funds to bankroll us, which we already knew.
 
We have several bird feeders with various nuts and seed. They're very popular with Blue Tits, Great Tits, Coal Tits, even the odd Willow Tit and they don't half make a racket when they're squabbling for position. Many times I've gone outside and appealed for them to pipe down. Never once has any of them accused me of being sexist.
 
I get this feeling from reading the above posts that Slav has absolutely no say in who he wants to bring in, and even more alarming that it looks as though he is not getting feedback from Bettis and co on the progress of developments, if indeed there are any. There is still time, but it could become toxic if we don't get in what Slav and what the supporters can clearly see what is needed and have done so for the last 12 months. I've been a big supporter of the Prince, but if there is no movement other than the 35 year old (and that's certain) that support will easily evaporate.
I just hope that by 11pm on deadline day we can see the recruitment team have done their job and make us all feel like prats for panicking.

I always look at this way : if someone at work used that phrase (man or woman) to another person (man or woman) would the person on the receiving end have a case for HR ? … the answer is probably yes.

I agree too many people on here quick to judge others opinions when that is exactly what this forum is for… don’t get me wrong I love a good debate but we’ve had ‘calm your tits’ and ‘bull shit’ used already … IMO this is people trying to win an argument (not a debate) by being aggressive in their language … I choose not to interact with them any longer.

I doubt Slav will walk, he's on an absolute wedge. Far better to make public his views on our lack of activity and force the owners hand, one way of the other.

Get sacked = payout

Or

Get the backing he expected, even if in January. It could be a right slog up until then though.
 

I think we're going to have to park the bus till January.

if/when we click and start winning games, prem league players who may have been promised to be around the 1st team and still not had a look in by January may be more tempted.

But from players/agents looking in from the outside, our football looks dross and not a place to be plying ur trade right now.
 
I think a lot of the slow transfer dealings is are down to not selling Berge

Fair play for standing firm on Berge , i would much rather only sign 2/3 players and keep Berge than sign 5/6 players and sell

That is the trade off I would reckon , Berge is the best player at the club by a mile would much rather keep him than sign 6/7 and have a squad of 30
 
The problem is that Sander hasn't shown enough in the games he's played to attract what we think he could be worth.

His injury also meant he didn't get a chance to show a larger body of work to correct this.

He's currently an above average (and that is being generous) Championship midfielder.

Very ordinary as a holding player; decent going forward but without an end product. Whether this is down to motivation, or ability, I am not entirely sure.

In any case, I'd be amazed if we got a significant offer for him in this window.

Our manager isn't spouting nonsense about money being taken out the club. He is, however, showing his frustration about how things are taking longer than expected. All that is more than likely down to a combination of players not wanting to come, selling/patent clubs dragging their feet (squad registration window still open), loan fees too high or being priced out of moves. But hey ho, go with the wild conspiracy theories.
 

i certainly think its a financial issue whether its loan payments or salaries this were aiming to bounce back at the first attempt which was being spouted by the club in july is proving to be absolute nonsense
