In fairness, Norwich bounced back and they were similarly dreadful. They lost every game (I think) after lockdown. I'm shocked at just how poor we look.

They made good money selling defenders for top dollar (despite having an atrocious defence in the Premier League) and kept a ridiculous amount of attacking talent.

We pissed all over Norwich last time we were both in the same league but their team last season is light year's ahead of what we have now.

Oh I'm not advocating panic, I just don't think it's reasonable to expect us to do a Norwich given the wealth of attacking and creative talent (comparative to the Championship) that they already had at their disposal last season. We don't have anything like that at the moment.

True but put them up against WBA now, who would you put your money on, not saying WBA will survive in the PL, but they will bully most teams this season

Have to admit, I was amazed the Burnley goal was allowed, when the guy pushed Maupay to the floor, especially after last years VAR 'used
I appreciate its 6 of one etc blocking/obstruction versus a push, it will be interesting to watch both that and WBA examples, Bartley pushing Berge back like a rugby tackling dummy to get on the end of throws, if more teams adopt the tactic of being a lot more physical in the penalty box attacking the ball
 
I seem to remember that the premier league didn’t take to kindly to the antics of blocking runners in corner situations during one stage of VAR.

I know verrips performance was terrible but the goal we’re he flaps at it, you can see Matt Clarke pushing him away from the ball, we all know as football fans that it’s just bad goalkeeping but you have seen that sort of behaviour punished by VAR.

There may be hope of Olsen and maybe ............ still at a push Diallo? which would be amazing. Garner seems to have gone to Forrest, Sessegnone really is a bit of a dream. Do you have any other replacements that we can imagine about as I was really enjoying the experience?
 
Under 240 hours remaining of the transfer window. If we want 5 through the door means have to average one every 48 hours from here.

Can we do it? My head and heart says... no

Assuming we haven’t started the process of bringing in Olsen already.

Who’s valuing Dieng at £6m? From what I’ve read they’d want a lot more than that
