What's really disappointing at this stage was Wilder left with about 10 games to go. It took so long for the board to finalise a deal with Slav. We knew from a long way off we needed midfielders and a centre half. And we have one player in the door. That is nothing short of shambolic.

Or as discussed a hundred times in this forum, in the last week alone, signing good players isn't necessarily quick or easy, for many reasons.

Sorry I don't agree. Loan signings dont seem to be a problem for other clubs in the championship. We have had a lot longer than most to know what we need and to get them in. The fact we haven't is seriously worrying.

Sorry I don't agree. Loan signings dont seem to be a problem for other clubs in the championship. We have had a lot longer than most to know what we need and to get them in. The fact we haven't is seriously worrying.

They aren’t targeting the level of loan player we are. Davies was first choice for centre half and we’ve got him. The other loan targets are also top tier so they take longer with the risk that you could potentially miss out. It’s simply a question of if you’re happy to settle for riskier lower level loans or if you want to pay the top money and get the best.

Might not be Stevens is crocked, Robinson is garbage, osborn was tried and failed and we want to offload Lowe. That would leave RND as the only capable competition at the club. So we might want to bring in cover/competition you’d imagine it would be subject to shifting out the shite first

Surely things like that shouldn't come into the equation, we want him we'll pay it. End of.

Quite right, CM, everyone and everything needs freshing up, us lot in included.
We have quite a bit of up and coming young blood that needs careful integration into the squad, that would be a start. All the rest is Slavs job, let's hope he's up for a fight.
I find his, is a very hard face to read.

True but we’re currently overstocked at leftback it’s normal to want to at least move one on before adding yet another player to that area.

Anyone who actually thought that this group who have just spent 1.25 seasons losing week in week out would come good by dropping down a level needs support and guidance in life and that includes inside the Club
