in need of defenders!

Looking at the SUFC website we look comfortable in defence with there being profiles for 8 defenders. But on second glance they still have the profiles up for sun jihai, bromby (been confirmed as left to leeds this morn), del boy who we dont know if he will play for us again.

Naysmith is injured.

So leaves us with 4 first team defenders? come on blackie the defence needs to be stregthened big time, we cant play we'll score one more than u if we start to leak goals.

The defence is the first area that needs strengthening, not oh we'll get this player on loan, we need perminant players and a bit of quality. If killa goes (hoping we can keep hold of him tho but u never know with our transfer policy) or him or morgs gets injured then we are screwed with no back up.

If no defenders are signed today then i worry about our credentials of promotion challenge, only due to the fact that our back 4 will get a knock here and there and we will get suspended.

Is anyone else as worried about this as i am?

Makes me wonder if we have some wonder kids in the academy the way we don’t seem to be strengthening

Hate to say it but Maguire CH is ready for the first team here is the bad news he was a pig untill he joined the academy.

There will have been 3 McGuire Brothers at Bramall Lane the oldest was released and is now at Scunthorpe. Although it's true that they are pigs they have all come through the system from an early age so I don't think that we should hold too much of a grudge. By the way they all went or are going to St Marys RC High School in Ches Vegas.
