Aaron Ramsdale is arguably, currently the 2nd or 3rd best goalkeeper in the country.
If we can keep him he will help to get us back into the PL.
His value to the club will then increase hugely and if he does become England No 1 he could be worth £80-£90 million.
I don't know if PA sees him as a saleable asset but I'd like to see us build a quality young team for the future in the elite division of English football.
Short-termism has been our downfall so many times before

It would be interesting to know PA’s view on this. I personally think that Ramsdale and Berge could still be the foundation of something very big, and the key to long term sustainability for a premier league club.

Sadly, that would mean that Slav is currently a very good sticking plaster, who may or may not have longer term credentials. This transfer window could answer a lot of questions about the future of our club. ……….

I don’t think Aaron is keen on going anywhere. I think he would only consider going if he was to be number 1, which he won’t be at Arsenal. If the player doesn’t want to go makes the decision easier. Then it’s down to whether the board want to sell or not.
With Berge it’s probably a little trickier. He’s got a release clause and he probably wants to play higher up. He also has less attachment to the club.

I've seen possibly 1 or 2 games from Berge. He was our record signing he owes us like Brewster

Think that's a bit fanciful. 2nd or 3rd best English keeper? He's currently 5th choice English keeper. Wasn't in the Euros until Henderson got injured and Pope would've been in the squad too were he not injured.

If we keep him great, if we sell him for the right money, fine.

There's no guarantee that the keeper from 1st half of last season doesn't show up on day one next season. Obviously everyone hopes the much improved keeper from the second half turns up.
