He was right wing back. He's played there before for Wolves. He seemed comfortably and didn't do badly there. He'll probably be the one to play there if Freeman is out for long....someone out there must know the answer as to why the f**k EEL was played as a right winger in the second half?!!!
Because we had already made three substitutions through injury. What was wrong with bringing Clarke on and going 3 4 3 ?
No mate, not me.Because we had already made three substitutions through injury.
Also, you don't happen to be the bloke who rang up RS do you?
Is this a vendetta ?He did ok in that position. Basham was once again the weak link.

We were trying to keep the same shape so put a centre back on to shift basham to midfield. Then Freeman got injured and fucked all the plans up.No mate, not me.
I just think Clarke instead of O'Connell would have made more sense?

No, my only vendetta is against a certain prick at Bratfud. Basham just isn't that good.

Really? We have 90% possession in the final 3rd of the pitch for 70 minutes and you think a defensive player was the weak link.
Mind boggles.

This is my point though S4, we didn't need to keep the same shape against 9 men!!We were trying to keep the same shape so put a centre back on to shift basham to midfield. Then Freeman got injured and fucked all the plans up.
Fair play about the Wolves connection mate, that makes a lot more sense. Not his best position by a long way for me though. If ever we need to utilise him elsewhere in emergencies, I think I'd rather see him bludgeoning their defenders out of the way as a make shift centre forward!!He was right wing back.
